I have a Coleman Mach 8 RV AC - 13,500 BTU. This generator alone will not start the AC Compressor. It can run everything else in my AC including the fan, but not the cooling of the AC. My solution is to install a softstart to the AC, there are YouTube videos showing this generator able to start a 13,500 BTU AC when it has a softstart on it.

Made in China and is the same generator as the Pramac iq3500 in Europe. It is an excellent quality generator with very quiet operation. A little heavy so a dolly or wheel kit is mandatory. Im not sure why they decided to forgo the wheels as standard equipment. This has the same internals as the H.F. 3500 Predator down to the Hemi head 212cc engine made by loncin.

What is the dB rating on this unit?

50 dB at 1/2”. That is what the manufacturer is saying. Without a standard it is worthless information. I can claim mine is 47 dB but that measurement is at 30’ from the quietest side another claims 57dB but that is at 10’ Reporting the max reading from any side. Guess which one is quieter? Every generator is 0dB if you stand far enough away.
