I found an Eggplant tart recipe on a 'serious eating' website that named this as an ingredient. Could sub sesame seeds, etc, but I figured...give it a try. I'm glad we did. Depth of flavor was noticed, and I'll be using the seeds again when I make this recipe with other veggies (shrroms, onions, etc.). Yummmm

Read where this seed was beneficial so I ordered them. Surprisingly they tasted just as I read they would. Nice mild flavor. Not harsh like too much garlic. Have put them in everything and like the outcome!! Will keep eating them. Kudos!!!!!!

I bought them to try a spinach Borek recipe (sprinkled on top) It was great. I’d never used them before and had no idea that they smelled and tasted smoky, what a pleasant surprise. That’s when I fell in love with Nigella seeds. Next, I’ll try them on my favorite dinner roll recipe. This is the only brand that I tried, but I was very pleased with them and will buy them again.
