Not a “regular” brownie, but excellent for Keto
I made these as soon as they arrived. I have been following a Keto diet (usually <6g carb/day) since mid-January and have lost 19 pounds. My sweet tooth is 99% dead. Occasionally, however, it is nice to have a taste of chocolate. I used half&half instead of the milk, otherwise followed the very easy directions. They came out very nicely. I was watching them closely and (probably because I have a convection oven) they did not require the full cooking time. I divided the pan into 16 pieces, wrapping them individually with a pecan pressed into the top of each. I probably won’t eat one every day, but I will enjoy them as an occasional treat. If I were scoring them against a regular brownie, they would get a 4/10. Compared to Keto snacks, they are an 8/10.

Diabetic Friendly - Tasty Treat - Easy to Bake
This mix is quite simply, just about perfect. The flavor, while not really "corn", is very good. A corn extract would really go far. Haven't tried adding anything like cheese or jalapenos yet although that I'm definitely going to try. This mix is diet friendly, very easy to make (I used eggs and avocado oil) and bakes easy in any 8x8 or 9x9 pan with a little spray to keep from sticking. Might be a little bit high on price but worth it. Update: tried a corn extract and seasoning which was okay but not really corn flavored. May need to use more. However, decided to try making this into banana bread using 2 tsp of banana extract and half a cup of allulose. Baking time had to increase by about 10 minutes and it turned out fantastic. Maybe next time I'll add some walnuts or sugar free chocolate chips. This is a great blend! Highly suggested! Update again: Been having so much fun playing with this mix. Decided to try adding hot, diced jalapenos, hot, diced green chilies, shredded carrots and some jalapeno garlic rub seasoning. I really like spicy foods and the "hot" is entirely up to you. This was made with unsweetened cashew milk, avocado oil, as well as an avocado oil spray in the pan and the three eggs noted in the instructions. I'm strict low carb so everything is LC and lower calorie. I did forget the corn extract but it isn't necessary. This is AWESOME. WOW. I do have to state that baking time had to increase by 15 minutes due to the extra moisture and the bread is perfect, moist with so much flavor. So much you can do with this be that sweet, savory, spicy or just a muffin side dish. Might be a great way to make a crust for a pie? Huh..might play with adding some psyllium husk or chia seeds. Either way - this is a wonderful mix perfect for any options.

Very Sweet 🧁
My family is sugar-free and our closest friends are Keto, so when we had our 3-year-old's birthday party I wanted a good cupcake mix we could all enjoy. This one was easy to make and I liked the Paleo instructions. However, the level of sweetness is just absurd in these. I frosted half and left the other half plain. Are an unfrosted cupcake and wow! Sooo much sweetness, almost had a blackout feeling. I love sweets but geez, can't do anything about a premix with too much sweetener.

The Strangest Aftertaste I Have Every Encountered
I really, really wanted to love this product. As a choco-holic, chocolate sweets are the one thing I miss about my new low-carb lifestyle. I ordered this brownies mix, as I LOVE other Miss Jones products, and figured if anyone can get it right, its this brand. Well, I was 100% WRONG. Couple of things to note. It was easy and straightforward to prepare and will mixing and baking its smelled amazing! I was in such anticipation, just based on the smell and appearance alone. I waited for the brownies to cool, cut myself a piece, and settled in for a great tasting brownie. For the first few seconds, it seemed chocolatey, sweet, and delicious. Then the aftertaste and texture hit. It is possible this is one of the top 10 worst things I have ever put in my mouth. I was hit with the overwhelming taste of salt, then it almost tasted like dirt, a weird coating came all over my mouth, and then every ounce of moisture was sucked out of my mouth. I even tried another piece to make sure it wasn't a random unmixed spot, but no the same thing. I was so shocked, I assumed I made a mistake with the instructions and made a second batch, especially since all the reviews were so good. I followed the directions to a T, tried again, and had the same result. While I love Miss Jones as a brand, this is NOT a good one. Save yourself from the bizarre taste and texture that was this attempt at a brownies and try something else. The biscuits and muffins are particularly good from this brand.

Not terrible, but not great taste
Easy to make, but definitely has that chemical, fake sugar taste. Texture was good.

First try
This was my first time trying this product, and trying almond flour. I was looking for a muffin mix that was lower in sodium, and this mix is significantly lower sodium than others. They were easy to if up. I used my muffin maker , and it made 9 muffins just like the package said. The muffins were pretty good, I’d purchase again.

Not a moist or chewy brownie, but dry and crumbly
I was not impressed with this brownie mix. The texture came out being like a dry cake, a crumbly consistency, and it was not moist. I baked it at 350° as instructed and it was in for 22 minutes, right between the 20 and 25 that they recommend. I likely will not be purchasing this product again, as I was hoping to find something that was a brownie consistency that was more dense and chewy. It is sweet and it was not salty as others said in their reviews. It was edible, but I will look for another type of brownie mix that is Keto/Paleo.
