So many choices on Amazon to buy a screen replacement. After reading some reviews on here I pulled the trigger on this specific seller. I wanted to replace a phone laying around (iPhone 12) and didn't want to spend alot to do so, however I didn't want something low quality. I am completely satisfied with this replacement and here's why. 1. Has a very great installation video. 2. Has the adhesive 3. The tools were great. 4. The screen doesn't even look like I spent $20 on it. 5. It doesn't really stick out. Here's some pointers if you go with this product. 1. I used a blow dryer to help with getting the broken screen off. It heats up the adhesive to help it come off easier. 2. The ring that comes on the suction cup is too thin and bends easily. I took the ring off my car keys and borrowed it so it wouldn't bend when I was trying to lift up the screen. 3. And lastly, do a good job of removing the old adhesive before you put the new adhesive in. I can only imagine some people having a bad experience trying to do this themselves and not cleaning the old adhesive out. I'm sure it will make a world a difference on how your new screen will lay in the phone. Good luck with the installing the screen if you're reading this. If you pay attention to the video and look at my tips, you'll get it done right.

Update: the screen separated from the frame (the frame that it came attached to) I was going to glue it back but the ribbon ripped and so now it’s useless. Returning. So disappointed. Original review: Works perfectly. The step by step video instructions helped tremendously to keep track of what I should be doing. The replacement is not hard at all, maybe just a bit tedious with all of the tiny screws. Touch and sensitivity are fine, colors are good. I needed nothing other than what was included in the box. A screen protector was included also. Hopefully I won’t need another screen but if I do I would definitely buy this one again.

This screen was great for the price. I usually get my parts from fixeZ, but I took the chance with this. It arrived well packaged and looked good. The screen quality was similar to normal repair site screens. Installation required removing the existing camera/top pieces from the old screen to install them on this. That part can be a challenge if you're new. I had issues with the touch working, and I started to think the digitizer was bad - unplug and verify your ribbon cables are seated well. Reboot the phone. It worked well afterwards, but I had to mess with it for an extra hour or two afterwards. I am not an expert and have only done my personal phones and family ones.

First off, I just want to say that I have done countless screen replacements and repairs and have not encountered a screen quite this poor in quality. For context, this repair was performed on a relatively new iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 16.1.1. The bad: I understand that it is an LCD panel, but my first issue was that the backlight is extremely inconsistent and has "hot spots" gathered around the edges of the display, primarily near the points where it attaches to the frame. The inconsistency is really bad, even for an LCD panel. The second issue is that, of course, this display does NOT support VRR or ProMotion, meaning that it is locked to 60hz. I verified this with an external testing setup which showed that the display panel maxes out at 59-60hz instead of reaching the full 120hz OEM display quality. Finally, the worst issue is the freezing/stuttering, greatly reduced battery life, and overheating due to the LCD backlight. With this display, my battery life was effectively halved and the touch responsiveness has a VERY noticeable latency. The freezing issue occurred for me after around 2-3 minutes of use, where the display would completely freeze and refuse to update the image until the phone had been power cycled, which would then repeat the freeze after another 2-3 minutes. It's worth noting that all of these issues were in fact caused by this display and the device was tested with other working displays to verify this. The cherry on the cake is the absolutely abysmal pixel density, with the panel having a noticably lower resolution than most replacement displays. There were lots of other small issues like the thickness of the panel preventing it from seating properly and the uneven bezel at the bottom of the display, but honestly, the major issues I listed should already be enough to dissuade anyone from buying this. The good: For the price I paid for it (around $40), it has pretty decent brightness and color. The darker colors are nowhere near being dark since its an LCD panel, but the brighter colors really do pop. TLDR: Even though I know it's cheap, PLEASE save your money and get a quality OLED panel or anything higher quality than this garbage.

I wish I didn't have to write on here, but Amazon make it impossible to contact them re the problems with this product. The only option I have is to choose REFUND which I can't do as the screen is already on my iphone. I wanted to contact the supplier to say that this product is very dull, not bright at all. It has a dull look to it and not like a geniune apple screen replacement at all. I was wondering whether it was a fault with the screen I was sent but was trying to give the supplier the option to talk with me, but seems I can't have such a chat on Amazon. The whole experience has been disappointing. I wish I didn't have to write on here.

Very filmsy and as I try to push it in and power it on it is cracked and was damaged at the sides as if it had already been returned. They didn't secure the screen or anything. I immediately returned it.

Excellent product easy to install very helpful tools the only thing is the screen protector is not easy to install but in general can’t complain about the product

As i order iphone 12 mini screen the expensive one $100 AUS with a face lock and trutune feature but when i reseved the package none of the features are working and the screen is low quality even the the color is changed.

the touch response is a lot slower than the original and other screen replacements I’ve installed and the colour is very dull not very happy with that but overall it is working and is responsive just not what I was expecting if your looking for a cheap screen that will get you by it will work but if you’re looking for original quality I wouldn’t recommend it
