Great hasp. Very heavy and sturdy. I would have liked to have seen more pictures of it before I ordered it. After the order, I wasn't sure if the latch had a hole in it for a lock and was worried until it arrived that it may not. For the record, it does. Also (and this is for most the hasps that are being sold), why do the photographers insist on flipping the latch upside down exposing the screw holes in the images? Please, if you purchase a hasp and install it, put it so the screw holes are NOT exposed when the hasp is closed. Otherwise, you aren't really protecting anything.

Product is excellent, high grade SS. However, when drilling holes to mount the hasp, it is very difficult to get the holes exactly positioned and they need to be exactly positioned in order to close the hasp.

Used on an exterior door and it is too unstable to be effective - need a bigger hasp lock with bolts that will go all the way through the door to maintain it

I use this hasp on my shed. I love the look and function of this hasp, it will never rust, looks sharp and, in my opinion, worth every penny.

Very well crafted heavy duty better than the Standard Marine Grade stainless hasp. M&R makes a quality hasp you won't find anywhere else. Better than SeaDog and many other brands.
