Used on a weekend motorcycle trip to keep my kuryakin bag on the passenger seat of my CanAm Spyder F3L. Was fairly easy to attach and stayed snug and tight with no issues.

I bought these for my husband after having several mishaps with our bungee cords and damaging some expensive gear. We spend the summers mtn biking, kayaking, camping and hiking and always have gear to tack down. We feel confident that everything will stay in place when we use these, even when driving on gnarly 4x4 trails. These straps are a must for any adventurer to keep in use year round!

I purchased this product because bungee cords weren’t working for me and ratchet straps are difficult to use and often don’t quite do it. I’m amazed at how easy to use and how tight this strap gets. I was able to secure my load tightly to my snowmobile with ease. The strap worked great in freezing temperatures. This is by far the best strap/solution for securing gear easily. These tack straps are a nice multi-functional tie down for those odd-shaped items which is what immediately caught my eyes. I like the anti-slip rubber; it is very flexible and will hold on to the item you are attempting to secure. I wanted to use these for something other than what was shown in the pictures but definitely along the same lines. I decided to conduct a test using a ceramic pot. I figured that this would be a good test for an odd shaped item; not too heavy or too light, sort of fragile but not too fragile I would whimper if it broke. At its peak, the ceramic pot was approximately 11” in height and perhaps 14” diameter and I placed it on a ½” piece of plywood centered over axle. I have multiple tie-downs throughout the bed of my truck numbering what many might consider overkill but I want options when securing a load especially when it is something that I have created/restored/repaired. Even with the small stature of the pot and the short (42” sq.) distance between tie-downs in the truck bed I unfortunately, could not get all the straps to reach their respective tie down. Yeah, I know, a quick test, but the pot is a good representative of the unusual shaped items I have plans on using these cam tack straps to tie down. Bottom Line: (IMHO). These are fine for securing a 6 + gal plastic water jug, or sim. I also believe that these can be great for securing items up against a sidewall or in a “narrow and tall” type configuration. I would think them to be perfect for RVers, off-roaders and campers. I had hopes for an alternate application but found it too difficult to achieve a nice tight grip(cinch) with these cam buckles in this low-profile scenario. These are a great idea and up until now I had not seen anything like them. Perhaps STAPLL will consider a “next size up” that uses a rachet type mechanism. The quality and design of this product are there so it gets high scores.

These straps are top notch. Super simple and fast to rig up anything nice and clean. So many uses and superior to bungees or regular cam straps or cordage. They hold up to heavy use/abuse and have a killer warranty if you somehow bust them. I have used these to hold down 5 gallon race gas cans and they always ensure no tipping or spillage. Great on those big bulky and awkward shaped objects with no tie down points. I have 4 of them and keep them in my vehicles and in the shop always handy. I won't be buying other straps anymore! This strap is okay quality overall, but it is not like a bungee strap so it cannot expend or adjust. Whatever length you see out of the box is all what you get and that limits its abilities a lot. The hooks are all plastic and do not look much durable. Also they are very slippery so do not grip well. This strap is not useful and I can not recommend it.

I used these to hold down the milk crate I use for gear behind the seat of my fishing kayak. These adjust fairly easily to keep crate in place even after a capsize.
