Worm castings are all around a great product to have if you do any gardening. The castings are a lot like putting conditioner on your hair, they make soil more healthy, which then leads to healthier plants. I use about a quarter to a half a cup on every plant I put in the ground, and then I sprinkle it every 2 weeks 2 months. We're castings are also very good at helping the soil retain water, which in the dry desert climate of Utah is a great thing. I especially love using this product on my vegetables, including, and maybe most importantly in the holes of tomato plants, and then I always sprinkle on top of the soil in my potato towers. This product is also great because it's a bigger bag for a fraction of the cost. At Walmart the bag is about 20 or 30 cents more per ounce. Why go there when you can have it delivered to your doorstep within a couple days. The product was nicely boxed so that the bag didn't get punctured during delivery. Worm Poo (vermicompost) is the best thing for your plants as far as making your soil more fertile. I add a generous amount of this, BioChar, Humic Acid, Organic Bone Meal, Organic Blood Meal, Langbeinite, and Azomite. You do that, and you will have a plant explosion on your hands. My plants ALWAYS exceed any expectations when grown in this type of soil. As far as the base? You can use Peat, Coir, or just dirt for that matter. I usually go in the forest and just dig up some good, rich soil and enhance it to heck and back with my organic goodies. Your plants will thank you with a very bountiful harvest. And when you put them in growbags, well, they seem to have even more love for you. Of course, this is provided you give them a big enough one, 30 Gallons is good for a Tree like a Mulberry, Fig, Carambola, Acerola, Pitanga, Apple, Citrus, Peach, etc...etc... 10 Gallon ones for most everything else except the smaller single things that you don't mind watering all the time. This is because the smaller the bag, the more you will have to water it due to evaporation. And speaking of evaporation, ALWAYS MULCH the tops of your growbags to keep the moisture in! E-Z Straw is an awesome production for this. You get this at your local Feed store (like Tractor Supply, etc...).

I have to say Amazon always delivers on time, the price of this product is really quite good. The quality of the product I was really surprised it really really is high-quality worm castings, and I used to raise worms. I will definitely be buying this product again!

I've ordered this a few times before. The castings have always been moist and fresh. And my plants just love it. I always mix in a handful when I repot my houseplants. I've never had an issue with shipping, Usually comes in a day or two, The first time I bought a ten pound bag, Now I just buy a 30 pounder and I"ll always find a place for it. And I think it's a cheaper price than most! Next, I think I'll pick up some actual worms.
