Face & Body Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30, No White-Residue for Melanin Rich Skin (2 Fl. Oz.)

I'm very dark--think Lupita Nyongo and Djimon Hounsou--and when I was younger I rarely wore sunscreen since they had zinc and were impossible to rub into my skin. And at my level of darkness and where I live--in the North of the United States--I'm not exactly drenched in sunlight and overly concerned about rays. If anything I'm Vitamin D deficient and need more uncovered time in the sun for the health factor. But I still decided to try this sunscreen a few years ago when it was gaining in popularity. My bottle expired, so I bought a new one for this year.Its true: there's no cast with this sunscreen! I also love that it's fragrance-free and non-irritating. I mostly use it on my face, neck, and chest if I'll be out in the sun during the hotter months and times of day. I don't have the worlds pickiest skin, but I haven't notice any acne after using it.The downside that many people have already noted is the size and the cost. It's not great for slathering on your entire body, unless you want to be buying bottles all summer. That said, I've found more mainstream brands that ofter mist-on sunscreens that sink into the skin without the white residue. I just wouldn't use them on the face, so overall it's a good compromise.

This was my very first time using sunscreen, and I was fully expecting to walk around looking like a ghost. But nope , no white cast at all! It’s lightweight, smooth, and didn’t make my face greasy. First off, I absolutely love the fact that this brand caters towards women of color. I’m giving this product 4 stars only cause I feel this would be better suited for someone with extremely dry skin. I’m combo with acne-prone skin but I’m currently using benzoyl peroxide 10% and Adapalene so my skin has been feeling tight and dry recently. I love that this product has no white cast, but it leaves me greasy throughout the whole day using the correct amount for face and neck. (2 finger lengths or 1/4 tsp) and you’re technically supposed to reapply every 2 hours depending on sun exposure (read back label) I’ll be trying the Matte version next time!

This sunscreen is really great for my melanin girlies. Don’t use a lot for white cast, otherwise this is a pretty good sunscreen and this is my 3rd time buying it. First two was in person first time ordering and it’s pretty cheaper for me to order because it’s $80 XCD where I live and cheaper online.

Best sunscreen ever! It’s small enough to fit in your purse. This sunscreen has no heavy sent. It does not leave a white cast or residue on your face. When I use it I have a natural glow to my skin. Also works well under makeup. Even my teenage daughters uses it.
