The Hydro Flask food jar is wide enough and makes it much easier for kids to get food out on their own. It keeps food warm for a good amount of time, which is great for school lunches. The stainless steel feels sturdy, and cleanup is simple since it’s dishwasher safe.

So far so good. Food still hot after five hours. Boiled water and left in container for about minutes before I put food in it.

Our child uses this as part of the breakfast/lunch school setup. This is our 3. unit of this style and size. It is easy to open, easy to clean. It fits into the lunch box and has enough capacity for a good oatmeal breakfast. The quality is great, because it survives the breakfast and lunch time abuse (lol). It is a good value, not cheap, but worth it.

Perfect size for oatmeal or soup. Easy to wash, keeps contents warm, doesn’t leak. Easy to open and close. I usually get hydro flask as gifts but am more economical when it comes to getting it for myself—I made an exception because I can trust the quality and don’t want soup smeared all over my lunch bag.

This has been a great food jar for packing 5 yr old grandson’s hot lunches for school. The one thing that would make it better is a handle on the lid. It adds height to the jar, but it gives leverage for opening. There is another well-known brand that makes a food jar with a built-in handle, and has the same capacity. We have that one and like it, also, but prefer the wider, shorter shape of this one for items like rice and gravy with a cut meat placed on top, or something similar. If we could marry the built-in handle with this wider, shorter, food jar, from a reputable company that is committed to lead and other heavy metal-free product (as Hydroflask is known for)s, at the same price point, it would be perfect!

Perfect size for a small warm meal for my daugjter’s lunch. Downside is that It doesn’t keep the food hot. The food is always lukewarm, despite adding boiling water inside thermos prior to adding solids. It would be perfect if it kept the foot hot.

Size is good & easy to clean. However didn’t meet the purpose!!

Una delusione. Dalle recensioni mi aspettavo un contenitore a tenuta termica notevole (parlavano di 9 ore) , invece non tiene il calore neanche 5 ore! Ho messo delle patate bollenti alle 7 e alle 12 erano appena appena tiepide. Non spenderò mai più così tanti soldi per un bidone del genere, considerato che ho dovuto pagare anche 5 euro di spedizione.

Awesome little thermos. Love the wide opening that makes it easy to clean and easy to eat from. We pack a hot lunch for our 4 year old in this thing all the time and she’s says it’s always warm for her at lunch time!

Der weltbeste Thermobehälter für Food! Ich bereite täglich mein Porridge damit zu, Haferflocken rein, kochendes Wasser darüber, stehen lassen! Nach einer Stunde hat man perfekte Haferflocken! Hält lange heiß, ist dicht! Perfekt!

Sono molto soddisfatto, lo uso per il pranzo in ufficio (riempio il thermos alle 6 00 del mattino, mangio pranzo alle 13:00 circa) ; mantiene bene la temperatura (sia caldo che freddo).
