These lights are great. Very easy to install and the value for money is brilliant.

They are a good light once fitted but they aren't the easiest lights to fit; the driver limits your cable entry points and as with any long rectangular fitting the cover fixing brackets can be a bit of a problem to line up and screw into especially if the outside wall is not square.

I purchased the 150cm version and it was pretty straightforward to install. If you are not comfortable working with electrics in a safe manner then you should get an electrician to install this for you.This is fixed to the wall using wall plugs and screws, no adhesive pads.The only downside to this light is that it doesn't have any motion sensing or native smart functionality. It's likely that this is a conscious decision by the manufacturer to just use it with a basic on / off switch, but I kind of feel that these days people want the option.The remedy that, I purchased an inline smart switch to sit between the light and the main light switch which then connected it to my Alexa app and used my ring doorbell sensor to turn it on/off.Overall a bright outdoor light that does the job well, maybe slightly over priced given that it has no native smart function or motion sensor. Gave 4 stars to take that into account.

Worked great until 7 days after the 30 day returns policy and now have no idea how to contact the seller for a replacement. Has power going to it, tried an alternative power source too and nothing. I also have 2 of the shorter 40cm ones that were installed at the same time and are working perfectly.

I love the look of this light fixture. It’s streamlined, sleek, and provides great light in a range of colors. My favorite is the yellow glow that simulates an incandescent light bulb. This fixture is LED. It fits the style of my home quite well. My husband installed the fixture and it was very easy. The only part that added extra work was figuring out how to cover the electrical box. Since this fixture is so slim, a standard, round outdoor box is going to be wider than the fixture. This was a retrofit for us so there was going to be a hole in the cedar paneling no matter what we did. So my husband cut a couple pieces of cedar stained to match our existing stain for each fixture/electrical box and screwed them in to cover the sides of the box that were exposed. I think his solution worked just fine. You could also use a blank cover plate and paint it to match your house exterior. I’m sure there are a myriad solutions depending on your unique situation. All in all, I’m very pleased with the aesthetics. They’ve only been installed a week so I can’t speak to the longevity. The light source is a LED strip light so hopefully it lasts a long time. The biggest negative I have is with the remote control. I have 2 of the 48” fixtures outside my patio door and I wanted the ability to dim it. So I ordered the fixtures with the dimming capability via a remote. I had read in the reviews that you can control more than one fixture with the same remote. If so, then I haven’t figured it out yet. If I can’t, I think it’s cheesy that you’d need two remotes for essentially the same fixture. So I’m going to try to pair them and if unsuccessful, I will contact the manufacturer for support. I hoping this is an easy solution as I’d hate to have to keep track of two remotes and which remote goes with which fixture. But the remote does dim beautifully so there’s that.Update 7/5/2024 - have been unable to pair two fixtures to one remote. Both the same size fixtures with identical functions. Have sent a message to the manufacturer to see if that’s a possibility. Per the Amazon Assistant, I should have a response by July 7. Hopefully I’ll get a solution. If not, I’ll have to have two remotes on hand when I’m outside if I want to control the fixtures. Fingers crossed!Update 7/7/2024:Still no luck getting a response on pairing my fixtures. When the Amazon Assistant told me I should have a response by July 7, I (rightfully) assumed I would be contacted by a knowledgeable person from the manufacturer of the light fixtures. I did receive one response from some customer who supposedly has bought and installed these fixtures. His response was an ambiguous “I have these and they work with my remote.” No indication on whether he in fact paired them and if so how. So if anyone out there understands what pairing means and has done it, I would appreciate knowing how you did it. I would also appreciate a response from Mikeru customer service as they say in the description of the product that they’ll support their product. Problem is they say it but don’t give you any way to actually contact them. The second photo is the only “instructions” with regard to the remote. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.Update 7/18/24:I received another message from the manufacturer on July 9 with further instructions on how to pair the fixtures. I was out of town so just barely tried the new fix last night. And it worked! It was simple but they had omitted one step which had to do with turning the power on, off, then on again then holding the setup button until the lights flashed to indicate they paired. So I wholeheartedly now give 5 stars; both for the fixture itself and the customer service. Although figuring out where to contact them is still a mystery. I’ve attached the full instructions above to save anyone else the headaches I went through.

I used this to replace an ugly carriage-style external lamp on our back patio. It was quick and easy to install, and looks much more attractive than the builder-grade lighting fixture I removed. Be aware that it can't be dimmed and has a relatively "warm" color temperature. Very happy overall!

These lights are bright sconces and look fantastic. The electrical outlet needs to be right where you want the light as it is a narrow light with little room for error.
