The hardware and build quality is at a very high level rivaling sets that cost 4 times as much. They sound great. Bought for a young beginning drummer on advise from a musician friend. Said this kit is one that you won't have to replace a few years down the line. After assembling it became very clean he was right. Snare stand and throne not included but very reasonable to buy from Amazon or local store.

If you know anything about drums (or read the description) you know this shell pack is just the drums and not any hardware beyond the tom holders. So no need to knock off any stars for that. This does rate 5 stars given the quality of this kit at this price point. Do yourself a favor and buy some new heads. A set of Evans UV2’s woke up this set, as did the Evans Genera HD smoothed out the snare. Now that everything is tuned, I’m really happy with the kit. Great build quality and fit and finish. Tone of course depends on tuning but I’ve gotten big booming sounds to punchy attacks with some overtones. Yamaha delivers.

The drums are pretty good, seem nice and durable. The only downside is you have to buy the stands, kicker for the kick drum and cymbals separately even though they are shown clear as day through the photos.

This is not a complete drum set. It DOES NOT INCLUDE everything in the picture! BEWARE this DOES NOT INCLUDE a seat, cymbals, cymbal stands, stand for the snare drum, or even the base drum petal.

I didn't read the description, but looked at the picture. It doesn't come with the hardware or cybils. My fault, so he couldn't play them until the rest arrived. Well made drums.

MAKE SURE YOU KNOW IT DOESN'T COME WITH CYMBALS OR SNARE STAND!!! The quality is very nice but I felt scammed because there included cymbals and many other items in the picture that it does present.

This is for my daughter's christmas. Mine came with everything but the cymbals and foot pedal that I knew it wouldn't but it's also missing the snare stand. However, it came with all the hardware and googling a video on YouTube it got me through assembly which is pretty easy once you got through it. Otherwise, its a great instrument really sturdy. Caught the $419 sale so it's a good price.
