I can't attest to this helping my throat or not, only because I haven't really had to drink it when my throat was bothering me, but it is delicious and I drink a cup almost every day! The first 2 times I drank it, the licorice flavor was a little overpowering and I was sure that I hated it. However, after giving it another chance it has now become my favorite tea. I like that you don't need to add any sweeteners for it to be tasty, it is tasty on its own. It is soothing to finish the day off with a cup of, and as I said while I haven't needed it for a sore throat (yet), I can imagine it would be really helpful! I definitely recommend this to any lover of tea or hot beverages!

I don't know how to give stars for warmth because you can make this tea as warm as you want to. It's not completely clear if that's what sheerness means. I put a bit of honey in it but not necessary. This tea is a different flavor. Not bad but different. It really does take care of a sore throat. Please seek medical help if this doesn't work. But for normal sore throats it does work. A professional singer gave me this name. This is not my first purchase of this tea.

This Tea is really good. Has a good strong flavor. Which I like. Makes u feel like it's working. An it does make ur whole mouth feel better. I will be buying this the whole winter.

It tastes like bubblegum to me. I buy a box of it every winter. I've seen it bring a voice back from laryngitis. It's worth every penny.

This is a nice, comforting tea and does help when my throat is feeling rough.

This has always been one of my favorite teas, so I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that throat coat was recommended for acid reflux because it contains slippery elm. Throat coat has a pleasant taste, and I have the comfort of knowing it won't trigger my reflux.

I use this when I need my voice to sound good, or when I have been using my voice in a way that could cause damage, or when I’m sick and my throat hurts. It’s my favorite tea! It does have a licorice taste so I’m sure some people won’t like it, but it really reminds me of oatmeal for some reason. I like the little inspirational messages on the string thing.
