Q: is it suitable for Pentax Q 12.4mp?

A quick Google search show they are available on Amazon and several other sites. So the answer is probably no.

Q: Does this work for the pentax k70.

This works in my K-5 & K-1 and will work in your K70 IF it uses a D-LI90 (just look at your original battery) but, for what it is worth I will get the PENTAX replacement as the Wasabis that I got would not hang onto a charge after about 2 years. I will not get the Wasabi again.

The power of these batteries won't last as long as your Pentax batteries. I haven't figured how much less, but it is only a small amount less. However, you are getting 2 batteries. Simply keep the extra batteries charged up. Both these batteries and the Pentax batteries will run down even when they are not being used. Also, the charger light will turn green at around 60%, I think. Always leave the batteries in the charger for a little extra time and the charger will bring the batteries to 100%. I have this charger/battery combination for a couple of other Pentax battery sizes, and am ordering it with the K3 battery. One nice feature here is that you can charge your Pentax batteries with 12 volts from your vehicle, 120 volts from your home outlets, or 220 volts from European outlets.
