Better than competitor ball and arm mounts.
I'm a big fan of AMPS mounts, and standard mount frameworks in general, so when I needed to find a way to secure a radar detector and phone, I wanted to find a strong 20mm ball and arm solution. Tackform makes absolutely solid precision equipment, right down to including threaded backing plates. I didn't need them for my current use, but having it available adds a ton of future possibilities. Anyone who is generally familiar with ball and arm mount systems is probably familiar with one of the biggest names out there, and I have to say that Tackform is 100% better for machining, quality, and durability. Worth the price.
