You might look a little silly wearing it, but this head net is absolutely essential when the gnats, black flies, or mosquitoes are swarming. It's the difference between enjoying your time outside and running back indoors. The netting is a super fine mesh, so even the tiniest no-see-ums can't get through, but it's still surprisingly easy to see out of. It's very lightweight and fits easily over any of my hats, from a baseball cap to a wide-brimmed sun hat. The drawstring at the bottom is key, you can cinch it down to make sure there are no gaps for bugs to sneak in. It packs down into a tiny little stuff sack, which is perfect for just tossing in a pocket or clipping to a backpack so you always have it when you need it. For something so simple and inexpensive, the relief it provides is incredible. A must-have for gardening, hiking, or fishing in the buggy seasons.

I live in a place where fungus gnats can be so thick in the air some days that walking into a cloud feels like having a handful of sand thrown in one’s face. It can be pretty punishing for a pedestrian. These nets were a desperation move that paid off—they work just as hoped and are impervious even to the tiny gnats. Very satisfying being able to breathe freely and not have to pick gnats out of the eyes on a day when they are out in force. They tend to cling to the mesh but don’t get through and are easy to shake off later. The nets pack up compactly, and one is now standard equipment in my backpack. For fine mesh they seem sturdy enough—I have used one repeatedly and packed it back into the carrying back without taking any particular care, and it has held up fine so far. I have no complaints.

These are the best head nets I have used for hunting. Very good vision and complete protection. There strong even if you snag them, they don't rip or run. They fit my boonie hats perfectly and baseball caps easily, with plenty of extra length to lay on your shoulders and they have a draw cord bottom to seal off entry. Ultra light weight, great price ,Highly recommend.

Definitely works. It’s a bit hard to see out of when the hood is zipped up but, I was able to go outside at night (in the southern US) and didn’t get bit by a mosquito once. As someone with a pretty severe reaction to just mosquito saliva this is a must have to stay protected.

Small and lightweight. Worked perfectly for me when backpacking the High Sierra Trail and fighting some of the worst mosquitoes of my life. Kept them off my face and neck very well.

I look like a dork, but it stops the swarms of gnats, flies, and mosquitoes. Wearing it made gardening enjoyable again. Best worn with a brimmed hat.

Visablitiy is the best, quality materials, best size, and it works. It's comfortable enough to sleep with it on. Sometimes when you're in the thick of it you have to do what makes you safe and comfortable, this is a must for any outdoor enthusiasts.
