Breaking resistor for use with Lapond VFDs - mine is the 220V 3KW 4HP model. I use it on my lathe. The braking resistor allows faster deceleration, so instead of waiting 30 seconds for the lathe to slow down, it stops in 5 seconds or so. Still have to adjust the deceleration parameter inside the VFD setup.

It's fine - how do you even review a resistor?
This is used as a braking resistor on a CNC router. Works as expected, sits there quietly, and when used, gets warm. As far as fit and finish goes, I give it a 9/10.

Unit Failed out of the box
My 1000Watt resistor failed on first use ... overheated and smelled very bad - unbreathable .. need contact info (none)

Spelling matters
"Breaking" means to render something broken. "Braking" means applying force to slow or stop something. I doubt this product is a "breaking" resistor. Spelling matters.
