Womens Bike Shorts 4D Gel Pading Cycling Spinning Biker Bicycle Short with Pockets Wide Waistband

I went for this pair of cycling shorts going by their pictures which showed thick padding. But it is not thick enough in the front part which causes pain after about 10 kms of riding. Also the side wings tend to chaff the thighs after about 15 kms. There are pockets 3 of them one with a zipper, none which I had the occasion to use. The price is far too high to pay for a shorts with such inadequate padding. Terribly disappointed. I only realized how inadequate the padding was after my first ride using it. So use it for short rides. I have to adjust the shorts at least once in between so that it does not cause discomfort. I definitely will not buy again.

I bought these bike shorts for the price. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on bike shorts, so these were ideal. I am pleasantly surprised at how nice they are. I am about 5’ 5”, 160 lbs with an athletic build. I usually take a US/Canadian size 12 or a large in clothes. Based on what others commented, I decided to go with an XL and I’m happy I did. I think a large would have been a bit too snug. I really like the quality of the fabric, the amount and stiffness to the inner padding, the leg length, the pockets and the color. They are just a nice pair of shorts. I also like how the elastic in the thigh doesn’t bind into my quad, creating an itchy discomfort. I’ve only gone on a shorter ride so far, but the shorts provide me with a nice amount of comfort to prevent hotspots in my ‘private’ areas. I am going to rest them on a longer ride and see how they feel after 4-5 hours on a bike seat. If they perform well, I just may treat myself to another pair in a different color. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asked.

Very comfortable and breathable fabric. The padding is wide and thick. I really like the reflective print, and the size of the pockets makes it safe and comfortable to store your phone. My only suggestion is that you size up, as the leg ends are a bit small and can feel tight.
