great wifi nvr system. But, an nvr with customer support makes it great. Thank you Melody and safevant. I was skeptical about wifi camera in a major city because of intertference. After reading negative reviews, I decided to take a chance on safevant. The reviews refer to one thing, great customer support (thanx Melody).My unit was plug and play-no brainer. i was concern about signals thru a brick house on multi levels. one camera was weaker and cuts in and out, but the other camera no issue. yes, i can get a wifi extender, but no need. I was playing with the nvr before calling Melody. She help make the software more friendly(manual wasn't that great but critical). remember the support is in asia and the time difference.i am not an IT expert. I was using foscam before they scrxxed me because of issues with their competitor. my foscam died unexpectedly:((overall, i am happy with the nvr and their customer support. i am contemplating another unit for a rental property. thanx again.

This has been overall a very good experience. The cameras are high definition & crystal clear, so even though there is no zoom you can see a great deal of detail. I did lock myself out & had to call tech support. They are overseas (1-800 # though) and I hung up realizing the time zone difference. They called me back even though I didn't leave a message! Was a bit funny because we were both like - who is this? Also, they called after 9pm on a Saturday. Quickly got to the solution though. I would not recommend this for my tech challenged friends unless I am there to decifer the instructions for them. I did hire an electrician to run power outlets in my attic space & hang the cameras. He was very impressed with the quality. The ap for my phone is easy to use as well. Great buy.

This surveillance system is super easy to install with great pictures. The cameras already came with automatic pair, you just need to plug in the wireless cameras and the system will recognize them. I bought the 8 pieces camera with no HDD. I also bought separately the Western Digital WD Purple 4TB Surveillance Hard Disk, which I installed it myself and it was recognized by the system immediately.This company has a great customer service, which makes the wireless camera system to stand up from their competitors. I highly recommend this Safevant Wireless Camera system if you travel a lot so you can have a peace of mind by checking your house remotely anytime through the internet by using the IP Pro software, which you can download it for free.

The rating for this product misled me. All cameras never worked in a stable manner. Still as most were working, we kept going as I had paid $200 for installation and didn't want to redo the whole system. After 2 months, 4 cameras stopped working. After multiple challenges in scheduling a call to China where the seller is, seller's technician helped me resolve the issue which was temporary. Since then, the cameras work from 5 minutes to a few hours and then they all go down with an "IP Conflict" message. I have spent installation fee, time, and effort tremendously in vain!

Quality camera system overall! I had a connectivity issue with one of the cameras at about 8 months old. The power went out and I figured it fried the board internally so I wrote Safevant an email and Melody replied to me within the hour and I was able to fix the camera with her first reply! She ended up calling me on my cell making sure I was able to take care of my issue when I forgot to reply to her via email! I thought my Nest customer service experience was good. Safevant has them beat! Thanks Melody!

Was initially happy but like the system I bought before this one in less than 6 months most of the cameras don't work any longer. I was actually shopping for a new system tonight then when I researched my order history to make sure I didn't purchase the same one twice and saw that I purchased 7 months ago. The phone app works fairly well versus the last one I bought. I am ok with these lasting 3 years as they are cheap to buy but it is a hassle to set up a new system once a year.

My house isn't that big. I had no trouble installing my old wired 8 camera system. However, even with a centralized location the camera signals are all very weak. I really regret buying this system, I should have gone with a wired system. It barely works and many of the cameras are all on the verge of being disconnected. The only pros to this system is that the customer service is outstanding, and the unit itself is easy to use. One of the cameras stopped working after only a few hours, the company sent me a replacement camera right away. Also I decided to buy a 6TB surveillance hard drive for $150 and install it myself and that wasn't an issue either. I would have a hard time recommending this system though, unless you live in a very very small house.

I am very pleased with Safevant equipment. I have 3 of there systems and i will purchase more.Last night is the first time that i have had the pleasure of dealing with tech support. I spoke withMelody. She was pleasant and very knowledgeable. She knew how to correct the issue that i wasthe cause of and every thing was operating as it should quickly.
