Easy to take, super handy and much better than mixing powders!

The BioCare – Liquid Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid arrived well packaged and as described. The set I received looks just like the photos advertised. I got this to promote collagen and skin health. As I've gotten older I've found my skin doesn't have the same bounce as it once did. I've tried other supplements before but couldn't really tell a difference in my skin. These supplements not only taste great but they're the only ones I've tried that I've genuinely noticed an improvement in my skin quality and tone. I have been taking these for over 5 weeks now and the results I've noticed were not immediate, like all good things in life, it takes time. I like the fact it's collagen with hyaluronic acid as most supplements are one and not the other so to have both combined in one easy-to-take sachet which is very convenient indeed. The flavour is a nice mango flavour that isn't too sweet and I really enjoy it, it doesn't taste fishy or have a bad aftertaste. I'd imagine most people would find it inoffensive or may even enjoy the taste like I do. My Gran swears that taking collagen as she feels in her experience it helps with her joints and promotes good skin. I like to look after myself so I will continue taking these going forward as I feel they are the best quality collagen supplement I have taken.

This is a liquid food supplement of 15ml containing vitamin C, 8000mg of marine collagen and hyaluronic acid. The pouch is easy to open but the liquid is not so easy to drink. I have taken it on an empty stomach as advised and directly into the mouth but won’t do it again. It’s probably the easiest way but I prefer to dilute the flavour as I did not find so great tasting as described. The collagen is mixed with natural mango and orange flavours but cannot disguise the taste and smell of fish. It’s not revolting but definitely not delicious. In the box, there are 14 liquid sachets for the price of £39.99. I appreciate that liquid collagen is always more expensive. I just thought at first that it was bovine, but it was my mistake not to read that it was fish instead. As it is a superb brand that clinically researches and certifies all its supplements, I am happier to do this 14-day course although with a bit of a struggle for the flavour. Finally, what really matters is results, so am happy to continue the full course and see what happens.

This Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid supplement comes in the form of 14 15ml sachets in liquid form. The expiry date for the sachets (on the base of the box) is 16 months after the delivery date. The sachets themselves can be drunk straight from the sachet (though I poured into a small glass for one so I could show the picture) or mixed into liquid. The contents are a little sticky and have a quite strange but not very unpleasant taste when taken directly and the after-taste fades quite quickly. The contents give 14 days supply, though it mentions the impact on skin results after 12 weeks of supplementation on the product page. I take collagen supplements given my age for its potential benefits I may gain in relation to my skin (especially skin) in regards to lines, wrinkles, moisture absorption and skin elasticity but also to hair and nail health. Although I have been taking collagen for some time and I can see the benefits of using such a liquid supplement for efficacy/bioavailability, I find the price point for this a little too high to use on a sustained basis. However it does appear to be a high quality product.

This review is for the BioCare - Liquid Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid - 14 x 15 ml sachets As a nutrition professional, I am very used to ordering and recommending BioCare products as they are large on the professional circuit. I jumped at these when they became available to order. This supplement contains 15ml of liquid containing 80 milligrams of vitamin C, 8000 mg of hydrolysed marine collagen and 25 milligrams of hyaluronic acid. Nice to see a food supplement that recognises that collagen requires vitamin c to aid absorption. The pouch is easy to open but I do not get along with any flavours from the sea so I found it unpalatable, despite being mango and orange flavoured. As a person with joint problems, I was keen to finish the course but I cannot. I would, however, recommend this to others that don't mind the fishiness. I understand this would be a considered purchase at the price of £39.99 but I cannot deny it has easily delivered quality ingredients.

The flavour isn't very nice, the mango orange flavour added isn't really enough the mask the less pleasant flavours which come through, but it does help. It is not completely disgusting though, and I can manage to take it straight from the sachet. The texture is thick and viscous. The packet is quite difficult to rip open, but as I go through the sachets I have improved my technique and and don't find it do tricky now. The difficulty is due to their being multiple layers pf plastic to rip though, so the inner layer sometimes doesn't not rip open. Failing that you can just snip across the top with scissors. The ingredients looks good, and the liquid form although not delicious, is preferable to me than the tablet alternative that I struggle to take.

Love the flavour of this collagen and it's very easy to take, just tear the top off the sachet and ingest the liquid, it's that simple, No more having to measure a single dose from a bottle each time. The flavour is nice with no nasty aftertaste and i'm happy i'm getting a good dose of 800mg marine collagen plus hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Although a little pricey i find it's easier for me to take in this form as apposed to tablets and powder and will continue to keep up the two week course for optimum results.
