I have a few of these in my vehicles and in my home mounted throughout for attaching my firearms in different areas for fast and easy access. The even hold the weight of a fully loaded 12 gauge shotgun. The only issue is I had to use longer stronger screws than what comes with this product to attach heavier items as such. But the strength of the magnet itself is awesome very surprisingly as small and compact as it is. I highly recommend this product

Once you get past the thought of paying $15 for a magnet I would enthusiastically recommend. Rubber coated and counter-sunk screws protects my Hellcat Pro from scratching. Magnet is crazy strong and easily holds pistol under the desk securely. I would say if you can not get this in wood/studs take a pass. The magnet is so strong I believe anchors would not hold in drywall.

Product works as advertised and should not mar gun finish unless you drill all day. Works better if mounted so that gun is suspended beneath it so the gun has no reason to shift around. My 5" 1911 will hang from it, but I don't know how long it will stay attached on a washboard road. Right-handers that mount on the driver's side of the console will discover inadequate room to insert their finger between grip and console. (Especially on micros like the LCP) If you can reach the passenger's side, drawing will be easier. A couple things to note: 1. This magnet is STRONG, so proximity to magnetic media is a no-no. (If you still listen to cassettes - A. It will erase your cassettes B. Stop. It's 2019.) 2. Many types of stainless are not magnetic, so test your gun at home before purchasing this product. It will prevent undeserved anger with the manufacturer, the unnecessary removal from your vehicle, and the subsequent accidental placement near your laptop, damaging your data. Then comes the judgmental looks from the Geek Squad as they endeavor to retrieve data and go through you browser history. In summary: Good product, use common sense when purchasing, wipe your browser history to be safe.

I have one on my side for my 9mm my husband has one for his 45 on the driver side. These are so strong on holding that I would put a rifle to it and believe it would hold it

I would have paid the price for one unit, but you get 2 units for this amazing price. EXTREMELY solid and secure magnet. Holds the pistol strong in place. Rubber coating is very durable and won't cause any issue with pistol finish. These units are the same quality as others going for 2-3 times the price.

I am sorry to say this item does not hold the weight is clams to be rated for . 43 LBS This unit does not even hold 15 LBS . I of course put it to the test . I am very disappointed . I purchased this unit precisely because of it's rating . I am of course not eager to make another purchase here on amazon unless I know what I am buying via experience or being 100% in the know about this item . This is ultimately not only frustrating but takes up a lot of my time . It does seem like a half way decent item . It is however not what the advertisement says it is .
