Brilliant pearing knife. Use them at work every day. Keeps sharp.

It was exactly what I expected as my daughter already has one.

The rounded tip is useful, it prevents me from digging into plates or being tempted to spear food in the pan. It cuts fruit with minimal pressure when using the length of the blade to slice (like a small saw). Handle is ergonomic and nicely made. The blade is deceptively sharp. A very understated knife that performs well above supermarket knives in the same price bracket. It also carves cooked meat well. I will however look for a non-serrated Victorinox for potatoes and things. A pointed blade is useful for digging out bad bits and opening packets. Just a thought if you are only considering buying one knife for every kitchen task. This might not be it.

- Just be very careful for your fingers !! I was quite surprised how good a job this did in cutting tomatoes, but it really has to be used with utmost care as we have both suffered cuts from it.

This is probably the best knife I've purchased. Super sharp and great for cutting tomatoes and softer fruits. There is one thing I wish it had, a sheath to go over the blade when putting it away.

A really sharp knife, be careful with this. I bought it for general veg prep, not just tomatoes. It's fine with most things but it is a thin blade so can go off track when cutting something heavier, like celeriac or butternut squash, into chunks but great for taking off the skin.

Super sharp. Did I mention that this knife is exceptionally sharp? Great all-round go-to knife. Would definitely recommend. Would also buy as a gift for my foodie relatives!
