Incredible little projector! 4.5 ⭐️ from me!
Yes it’s true the built in speaker is sub par, like it was ripped from a 90s PC. But this projector is MEANT to be used with external speakers because when you do pair with a soundbar or Bluetooth portable speaker you get this crazy larger than life feel when paired with the projected image. The projection image quality is INSANELY good. You really have to see it in person, as the review vids don’t do it justice. Being able to get a big screen size in 4K that supports HDR in a smaller space is something else! The remote and IR placement takes a bit of getting used to but is manageable, I also setup the ThinQ app and it works great, manual also says you can get a magic remote however unsure if the floating pointer works via remote. But it does on phone (trackpad style). This project is also USB-C PD compatible so that’s quite cool. Some focusing was required at times but I believe my walls and surfaces aren’t uniform so could be the issue. Overall hard to believe this tiny project can rock so hard! Some requests from LG if they’re reading this - a nice carrying case would be useful asap! Also heres hoping software updates will improve upon the overall performance. Love it!

Awesome 4k projector!
You can get it out of the box and working in less than two minutes. I actually appreciate webOS, allowing me to skip connecting another device for things like Netflix. I’m very impressed with the image quality, it’s not extremely bright for daytime use in a well lit space, but that’s to be expected in my book. I love how sleek, silent, and easy to use it is, with a great picture. The built in sound is the only drawback I believe, as it’s pretty mid at best, but I’m not sure what else you can expect in such a small device.

Unbelievable, best portable projector 10/10
Unbelievably compact, amazing image, easy setup. I bought 2 LG XG5 speakers and they wirelessly pair for stereo sound with this projector with perfect a/v sync, making this the perfect thing to take with you on trips (for an entertainment system anywhere you go, even on the ceiling above your bed while staying in hotels and airb&b’s or whatnot). My 1 qualm is that the IR receiver for the remote control is on the back, which can be limiting. But there’s a few workarounds! You can download a LG universal remote app to control this via wifi, OR you can buy a USB powered IR repeater ($10) plug it in to the back of the projector along with sticking the transmitter onto the projector’s receiver, and have the receiver on the front and transmitter attached to the back to redirect the remote’s IR signal.

Super cool device junky remote
This device is awesome. Just has a junk remote. So you will have to find the magic remote model to go with it. Also gets a little loud. But not a deal breaker. The LG website will tell you what model of magic remote to get. But overall cool. It can cast from awkward angles. And lock all the settings.

Gamers, prepare to be blown away…
By truly AWFUL sound. Look, I did my research, I knew the speaker was bad before I bought it. So I looked at the Q&A on LG’s website. One of their representatives answers a question by explaining the three audio output options: HDMI-ARC, Bluetooth, and USB-C. I knew the singular HDMI port would have my gaming console plugged in. I knew that Bluetooth was too laggy for gaming (In fact, attempting to connect a Bluetooth speaker automatically disables gaming mode). So, that left USB-C. I procured a USB-C speaker prior to even buying the projector. Sadly, the support for USB-C speakers appears to be fictional. LG, if you’re listening, I want to change my review to five stars. Simply patch in support for this feature that one of your representatives claims it already has and I will. The picture is glorious. Update: I just now got around to signing into all the streaming services. Near as I can tell, Paramount, Max, and Hulu are all missing. This is ridiculous I intentionally buy the LG brand out of trust and multiple LG TVs always supported these.

Sleek 4k laser projector. Its a keeper!
Pros: - This is a very sleek looking projector that delivers great picture quality with 4K resolution and HDR support. - The modern retro-like look feels like a decorative art piece in your home. Its really so nice to look at! The auto keystone works well and it also has plenty of manual settings to fine tune it as well. - It has a pretty decent home screen menu with the usual app options for popular streaming services etc. It has multiple connectivity options like HDMI and USB Type-C. - The colors are accurate, and the image is bright and clear. Its impressive a device of this size can offer that level of crisp 4k quality. Cons: - Built-in speaker isn’t very powerful. You'll have a better experience by hooking up some external speakers for better sound. It can easily connect to Bluetooth speakers etc. - This should go without saying but yes you do need to use it in a fairly darker room to get that full range of contrast in the image. But I have used it during day time before in a slightly darker room and it was still very watchable. - The remote range isnt the best. You would have to point directly around the back of the projector. There are ways around it though apparently with the Universal LG wifi remote or an IT emitter extender.(edit 07/20/24): turns out it doesnt have to be so direct. Even if the remote is in closer proximity it will likley pick it up) Update 10/15/24: After using it for several months now, I am still enjoying it. The only real complaint I have is the lack of apps available. Wish it had Crunchyroll and Max but it's not a deal breaker for me since I can just use chromecast. Overall: It's a keeper! I love how it looks and how easy it is to carry around as well. It's an aesthetic decorative piece that doesnt compromise in quality.

The visual experience it offers is truly remarkable
The LG CineBeam Q HU710PB 4K Smart Portable Projector is undeniably a compact and highly portable device. Upon unboxing, I was pleasantly surprised by its diminutive form factor, akin to being only half the size of a Nintendo GameCube. The visual experience it offers is truly remarkable, with stunning clarity and vivid colors that captivate the viewer. Furthermore, the projector's true 4K resolution delivers exceptional image quality, confirming its technological prowess. One standout feature of this device is its commendable heat management, as it does not exhibit the overheating issues commonly encountered in similar products. This factor greatly enhances the overall user experience and contributes to its reliability and longevity. In conclusion, my decision to invest in the LG CineBeam Q HU710PB 4K Smart Portable Projector was met with immense satisfaction. This versatile and high-performance projector has exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to those seeking a premium audiovisual solution.

Unbelievably small. High quality image on dark environment
Very well built device. Excellence image quality, although it's not the brightest. HDMI ARC port allow you to connect with Sonos Arc soundbar. Otherwise, should use a bluetooth speaker, because built-in speaker isn't good. LG OS is a very friendly system, with a lot of apps available for download. I'm very happy with the purchase. Like having cinema at home.
