Expensive but worth two in one hair tool
This is literally the greatest hair tool ever invented! I have very thick long course hair. It tends to frizz in any humidity. I would spend hours drying then straightening my hair only to have it frizz 10 minutes later. It also was very damaging to my hair to use all that direct heat. This tool straightens and drives at the same time! How amazing is that. And, it really works. It has saved me a ton of time and also is so much healthier for my hair. There is a learning curve when you first get it and it takes a little practice, but, once you get the hang of it, you will be so happy that you spent the money on this.

Total Game Changer - Salon Results in 1/2 the Time
This product is a game-changer for my fine, thin hair. I have long hair, prone to humidity and breakage, and it will not hold curls from curling irons. Regular straighteners tend to make it damaged from heat and stringy, and then greasy the next day. First blowing it truly, then straightening it, or doing a full blowout with the BondiBoost hair dryer brush for best results. The Dyson Air Straight is lighter than the BondiBoost Brush Blowdryer, leaves my hair shiny and soft, with a natural salon finish. I can dry and straighten my hair all at once, maintaining volume, no heat damage, and it accomplishes a great style within 30 minutes. That said, there is a learning curve. I find the machine is heavy (I have Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis), but lighter than most tools out there. It is bulky, and straightening from wet to dry is sometimes awkward getting my arm in the right position for the downward flow of the the air on the back of my hair, as well as switching from/to dominant arm's side. I like the fact that though bulky, the Air Straight has a wide coverage, so you can fit more of your weft into the tool, saving time. It was intimidating at first with all the instructions, but I quickly got used to the cool shot first at roots, then wet to dry, then cool shot to set the style. My only complaint aside from the weight and wieldability, is that it is difficult to get the roots. That may be on purpose in the design. I am glad I bought this instead of the Dyson hair dryer, and when it restocks, I plan to get the newest version of the Curling tool, which is lighter weight than the Air Wrap, and has a dryer attachment, as well as a round brush attachment. If you want salon results, and straighten your hair often, buy the Air Straight. You won't regret it, even at the high price. Don't buy the Dyson styling products, however. They are not worth the price, and I got better results with regular products.

Fast and efficient. My new favorite hair gadget!
This thing saves over an hour of time!!! It’s actually unbelievable how easy it is to use and how fast it does the job. And an excellent job at that! I usually don’t do my hair at all because I just don’t have time. This is a game changer! Dyson is brilliant.

Wow!
Shockingly great. My husband has long strong metal rocking hair! Used to take staged drying of up to 2 to 3 hours to fully dry. This straightener took 20 minutes! Plus you can't burn yourself, doesn't damage hair and if you combine it with PHYTO Phytokeratine Repairing Heat Protecting Spray, it's so soft you can't stop touching it! Expensive, yes. My hair is thin and I certainly don't need this, but for those looking for the blow out of you dreams without the salon cost, give this a try! Got it during the holiday sales with no regrets. My only wish is that they come up with a solution for the GIGANTIC power transformers that have to be dealt with on their hair care tools.

Make sure to watch videos & read product use info!
I almost returned to this, but I’m so glad I didn’t! The first time I used it I didn’t use it properly. I didn’t have it on the wet hair setting, didn’t use the boost feature, and didn’t use it closed as a dryer on my roots. I have 3B/C curly type hair. My hair was frizzy partway down, and there was a bit of a curl towards the root. Make sure to watch videos and readproduct information. It can make a world of difference! It’s fast, and dries & straightens quickly. My husband said that it was nice that our bathroom wasn’t like a sauna during or after drying/straightening like it usually is. Super nice for those of us who are in perimenopause. It’s very easy to use. If I was a parent of a curly girl, I’ve buy them this since it’s so easy to use without having to manage a dryer & round brush. I can understand how some people complain about their hair being almost too straight. That will probably be the next thing I work on to try to add a little bit of a curl to the ends. But right now, I’m loving the stick straight look!

Worth the $$
Got for my daughter for Christmas, worth every penny! She has curly hair and this saves her hair from the constant blow dryer and flat iron heat damage. It does straighten her hair from wet to dry as it says it does and her hair feels super soft and shiny. As a licensed cosmetologist I highly recommend especially for at home use to save the hair

Gorgeous machine, just didn't work in my house
I've had my eye on the Airstrait for a while, and I was so excited when it went on sale after I had a bit of Christmas cash. The good: - It's GORGEOUS! The copper color is beautiful - A nice long cable - The case it comes in is really high quality And here's the but: But I couldn't keep it because it was too powerful for my the power in my house. The moment it turned on all the lights in the house would flicker. So I tried turning off idle mode on the Airstrait. Same thing. Then I tried all the outlets in our house and I couldn't find a single one that worked. My Dyson Supersonic doesn't have the issue, so I'm not really sure why this happened.

Works well but overpriced for its performance
I have wanted this product for a long time, and I received it as a Christmas gift. My general thoughts on its performance: takes a bit of practice getting used to (you’ll get better with it the more you use it), but the fact that it can work on wet hair makes it a valuable time-saver. I also appreciate that it does not fry my hair; I can literally feel the difference. Having said that, I have two primary complaints: (1) this product is very much overpriced for what you get. The price is one of the things that made me think it was perhaps a “miracle” product. It isn’t. In my opinion, the price point for this product should be in the $200-250 range. (2) the cord that comes with this is a beast - it’s heavy and bulky, and given the price, it is frustrating that it doesn’t easily fit into the beautiful storage case that it comes with. You have to wrap the cord so perfectly in order to get it to fit in the storage case that o have found it nearly impossible. This is a frustrating design flaw. If it was just a little bigger, it would be so much better. As it is now, I have to keep the lid off the storage case and just put the Dyson in the case - I cannot close the lid. Frustrating, given the cost. So I feel that the product is not a good value for the price, nor does it feel like a luxury item either.
