Finally, a home dryer duct cleaning kit that actually works! - The Cyclone!

I have 2 dryers and 2 dryer vents. Stanley Steamer wants $199 each to clean them. I ordered this kit, had to change out the air fitting however that's no big deal. Anyway, I cleaned both vents. And tge amount of lint that came out was unbelievable. The upstairs vent lint was so thick, my driveway is stained with lint debris. In the video you can see lint flying from the basement vent. Easy to use!

I have been looking for this type of device for some time now. Typically, it is only available to professionals and is very expensive. This one offers a reasonable price point and includes everything you need, except for a compressor. Using this device will be on my annual maintenance schedule. I was amazed at how well it cleans, even with my small compressor/tank. I did have to stop a few times to let the compressor catch up, but it worked like a charm.

This tool works really well. It is surprising just how much lint that comes out of a "clean" dryer. Very easy to use.

This worked amazing. Our dryer vent is very long, around ten feet and this worked great. We used it from the outdoor vent in and then from the dryer out and got the whole tube very clean. Amazing how quickly my clothes dry now. This is going on the list of quarterly chores to perform.

Using this was much simpler and easier than other methods I've use in the past.

They need to upgrade to a better quality product , feels like the hose is going to break with in a month

As a home owner with a compressor, air hoses, and tools (pneumatic nail guns, staplers and inflators) I was disappointed that this device comes with an automotive quick connect that does not fit my air hoses. If you purchase it, you will have to change the automotive quick connect to an 1/4" industrial plug. To make this more expensive and complicated, the fitting can't be unscrewed from the ball valve. This being the case, you have to unscrew the hose from the ball valve and scrap the two pieces. I then purchased a Kingston 1/4" NPT Male x NPT Female ball valve and attached one end back to the hose and the other to the new 1/4" industrial plug. Both purchased on AMAZON for about $12.00. I haven't had an opportunity to try the dryer vent cleaning device. Considering the quick connect didn't fit my arsenal of pneumatic tools/hoses (probably what most homeowners with a dryer own), I feel that some plastic tubing and a nozzle are very over priced not to mention the additional expense to make this work. When I opened the box that this came in, there was a paper stating "that if you have any concerns, please contact us at an email address. I did send an email stating my problem and asking what could be done to address this. Guess what, a week has passed and I haven't received a response from the company. This whole thing may be an expensive, "more trouble than it is worth??? If I use it a lot and it works well--Great!

Was really looking forward to using this, but it does not fit into the quick connect for an air compressor.
