Good product
I like the fact that this brand of cordyceps powder is a nice powder that doesn't float all over on the air when I get some out to sprinkle in my coffee. It doesn't make a mess. I'm very pleased with it. I'd buy it again. Decent value for the price.

Mixes well in water, but needs better instructions
As with so many supplements, particularly when in powdered form, there are no instructions on how to consume the Cordyceps mushroom powder contained in this package. This powder is produced by XPRS Nutra out of West Jordan, Utah. This company produces a lot of different supplement powders packaged similarly. The Cordyceps powder is packaged in a half plastic, half aluminum foil zippered bag that must be first torn open to use. The powder package also contains a plastic scoop which states that the scoop measures out ~1000mg of Cordyceps powder. Unfortunately, the powder is kind of messy, making the scoop removal a bit on the messy side as the powder wants to stick to the plastic. Tapping the spoon into a mug will remove most of the powder into your mug and not waste it. Typically this supplement is consumed as a tea in lukewarm water. With that said, I wouldn't wet the scoop other than to wash it. The powder in this package is very finely milled. Unless you have a super fine tea strainer designed for a fine powder like this one, you'll need to pour the powder directly into warm water and create a tea directly. You might be able to use a coffee filter and dunk that in warm water, allowing the tea to steep through the filter. This will leave any bigger powder and sediment granules behind once you pull the coffee filter out to toss it. Overall, the powder is well packaged in a zipper bag (including plastic scoop), allowing you to use the bag for storage, or you can move it to your own preferred container. The powder mixes well in water. As for Cordyceps claimed health benefits, I'll leave you to look up Cordyceps on WebMD as they provide well written page discussing the possible benefits and potential side effects of consuming Cordyceps. If you're concerned over exactly how this powder was obtained and processed, I'd suggest reaching out to XPRS Nutra to ask them.

Works well for energy and endurance
I take this 1 hour before my work-out. I feel a little bit more endurance and energy that is different than drinking those energy drinks. This is stable and I feel good that it's USDA organic, vegan and non-gmo, natural adaptogens. You use 1 or 2 scoops - I use 1 teaspoon and mix into my smoothie. Thus cordycep mushroom is from the Mycelium. which, includes the roots. It's not the fruiting body. Both fruiting body and lower parts are nutrient rich. Good fungi, the “roots” of the fungi are actually Hyphae – long strands of multicellular fungi which forms the Mycelium body. It lives in the soil feeding on the nutrients within the soil or potting mix. These cordyceps sinesis are mostly found in the mountainous regions of China, India and Nepal. This mushroom have been used for thousands of year in traditional Chinese medicine to heal and balance the body, boost immune the natural way. This is premium quality stuff. 5 out of 5 stats! Thanks for reading, I hope my review was helpful to you.

Very good quality, organic mushroom powder that tastes good
It was a pleasant surprise that this powder is actually quite palatable on its own, in hot water, like cocoa. Sure, it’s a matter of taste, but if you do like the mushrooms’ taste this is actually not that intense and pleasant. I still add it to veggie and fruit smoothies, as a matter of expediting the whole preparation. So far, I cannot tell of any outstanding boom in energy, but it does seem to add more resilience in carrying the work day. The sealed pouch has a clearly printed expiration date, on mine it is July 23, 2026 – more than two years away. It surely will not last until then, now that I got it into the daily routine of smoothie preparing. There is no lot number on the bag, just a barcode which seems to be for sale points.

I love mushrooms. All mushrooms.
So it’s just a bonus that mushrooms are supposed to be good for you. I’ve tried this in coffee, and with all the flavored creamer and sweetener I use in my coffee, I can’t even taste it. I may cut back on the creamer and go with a more natural flavor to my coffee, because it tastes earthy and slightly sweet and mushroomy all on its own, so I’m probably doing it and my body both a disservice by drowning it in artificial hazelnut flavor. I’m going to start using it as a seasoning, too, just like I would onion powder or garlic powder, for depth and a little added nutrition. I think of this as more of a food than a supplement, but a food that may have benefits.

Stop adding unnecessary fillers
Fillers no good. This is why I'm sticking to buying them Raw and Pulverizing them myself

Mushroom Powder
This 4 oz package of cordyceps mushroom powder is perfect for my needs. It's organically grown and the bag contains a small scooper to ensure accurate dosing. The bag contains 133 doses and each individual dose contains 1000mg of this mushroom. There are no other ingredients listed. The bag is very easy to re-seal and feels nice and secure. I like to put cordyceps powder in my coffee along with collagen in the morning. I call it my "super coffee". I sometimes add taurine too. The flavor blends very well with coffee, it mixes in well, although I have only tried it in hot beverages thus far. I am also going to use this powder in my homemade skincare products. When applied to the skin, it is a great emollient and had anti-inflammatory properties. This is a great deal for a large bag of powder (especially organic). I definitely recommend this product.
