I bought this because it said it was rust proof. Time will tell.Right now, this is what I love about my new tea kettle. The color is so pretty. It looks just like the picture, a very cheerful blue. The design, the handle is high up, and my hand doesn't even come close to being hit with steam, splashed, or touching anything hot. The whistle, it's not ear piercing, but it is certainly loud enough. It also boils quickly, and I like the look of it. Fancy.

Surface discolored during very first use! Handle also got very hot. Thought color would return after cooling, but no. Overall, the kettle felt thin and flimsy. Would NOT recommend purchasing. Would give zero stars if I could.

Spring released after six weeks of use. Disappointed I’ve had no response from the company or Amazon. Still functions but for how long. Works well on our induction stovetop. Exterior is beginning to look tired. Purchased in October 2024.

Beautiful tea kettle. Boils water quickly. I don't know why so many reviews say that the handle gets hot. It doesn't get hot. Maybe a little warm, but it does not gets hot to hold it. The only issue is the whistle. When I don't want to use a whistle there is no way I could keep the kettle's nose open. It must have an option to use it without the whistle. Somehow to hold the whistle. Manufacturer needs to re-design it's mechanism. Other than that it's a good tea kettle.

Just bought this kettle, which arrived Thursday. I washed carefully following the instruction. I boiled filtered water. Then Friday morning, I saw tons of scaling. Also, my drying towel got black when I wiped inside along the bottom perimeter where the bottom panel and the side panel meets.Is it safe to use? Such a disappointment!

This whistling tea kettle, which I’ve been using for 4 months now, is still shiny with no rust stains inside or outside, and emits a very strong whistle. I do empty it by the end of the day when I use it and leave the top off to air dry inside.It continues to look great on my range top.
