Amazing midrange phone for the price
The Galaxy A55 is a phone I've had now for a few weeks now since upgrading from an iPhone 11 and it's probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. Here's why ⤵️- It has a really large screen size at 6'7 and has a really smooth 120hz display- Has a really large memory capacity at 8gb of ram, making the ui really fluid and apps work really well-All day battery life in my opinion lasting me the entire day and being able to be charged in less than 2 hours using the USB C cable providedCons:Weighs quite a bit making it feel a bit bulky in your pocketCan take some getting used to if you haven't been with samsung beforeOverall really good design and feels really premium for half the price of an s25, cameras are great, battery is great what more could you need

A solid and reliable phone for a reasonable price.
A solid and reliable phone for a reasonable price with great battery life and a solid-feeling build. The glass back feels like a much more premium phone than some of the Samsung A Series alternatives. With Android 14 the phone is quick and easy to setup using Samsung Smart Switch although I would always personally recommend using this only for files and contacts and fresh installing apps to avoid excess bloat. The only issue I have encountered is that the fingerprint reader can occasionally be a little unresponsive especially in cold or wet weather conditions but this has been an occasional issue rather than anything persistent.

Love it
Decided it was time to upgrade my phone after using my old Samsung galaxy s7 edge for almost 8 years. I bought the A55 after looking at a few reviews on YouTube, and I'm definitely impressed by this phone. Amazing colour, fantastic battery, feels nice in hand and has an almost premium feel to it. Performance is great and was easy to set up. My only issue so far is that it didn't come with a charging plug and I couldn't use my old one because it's a new charging port size (USB c) but wasn't too much hassle to order one. All in all, a good phone and would recommend 👌

A55 5G
Just bought a Samsung Galaxy A55 128gb in Ice Blue, as my aging Sony XZ1's battery was rapidly running down after 5 years of use. Compared to the Sony this has a far larger viewing screen, is much quicker in operation, and takes better pictures. I am still trying to figure out a lot of the new functions etc it has on it, and the Sony was simplicity personified in comparison. It does indeed come with an extended 3 year warranty that Amazon advertises, but you have to set up a Samsung user account (its easy to do) and register the device first. Ignore the Samsung illustration on how to find the Serial and IME number for the phone, as 1) it is so small it is nigh on impossible to read it, even with a magnifying glass, I know as I tried and 2) the numbers shown bear no resemblance to what they actually are. Just go into the settings on the phone and scroll down to About this phone, click on it and the number you require is there. Once you have registered the device in your Samsung account you have set up, go to registered devices and a picture of your mobile should be showing together with the date your phones warranty ends. This phone is also like a brick, when again compared with the Sony, but if you want better cameras, bigger clearer screens, faster CPU's more memory and storage etc then its the price you have to pay. My eyesight isn't what it was, and having a much larger viewing screen is a boon for me. When first started up, the Samsung automatically starts asking you if you want to port your stuff from your old phone across, and if so to connect your old mobile phone if you have one, after a few screen presses to select what you want ported across, it then ports across your selections from your old phone. You have the option to just use the cable provided to connect the 2 phones together, or keep the phones side by side (as I opted to do) and do it via wifi. Hope this helps anyone interested in the A55. I thought I had got a bargain when a week or so after this phone came out it had dropped in price by £75, so I am a bit miffed to see that is has dropped by yet another £75, at this price its an absolute bargain!

A happy customer
As expected this phone is very similar to the A53, which it was bought to replace. 2 weeks in and I am very happy with it. It has all the functionality you would expect of a Samsung phone. I have used the phone all day and still had more than 60% battery life left.Size wise, it's very similar to the A53. I read reviews suggesting the camera colours were washed out but I'm very happy with the camera results. With the metal case, it feels very robust.Overall, I have no complaints whatsoever.

Great handset
Good phone. Researched for days before I bought it. Got at a bargain price at the time and a free watch too.
