This is just like my older Yamaha and I mean just like it. This may even run better! I've got about 60 gallons of fuel through it so far. Only thing I did was change spark plugs after beaking it in with more oil. If you are on the fence about one of these, don't be. You can get the parts off here or other online sites way faster and much cheaper than the old school outboard dealers. Unit seems well made to boot.

Motor is amazing. Went through the 10 hour break in period and runs great. Shipped fast and was packaged well. No issues. Totally worth it

Engine took almost a month to get to my doorstep.. Came with oil already in the lower unit and gas in the carb. Engine started on second pull but didn't want to idle right away. Did purr like a kitten once it was running but was smokey due to having twice the oil mix for break in. Happy with the purchase for now. Giving it 4 stars until I put it water and see how well it pushes my 14 ft fiberglass skiff.

Ordered and was a few weeks out for shipping, but it actually arrived 2 weeks earlier than the projected date. We are still in break-in period (10 hrs) but so far we have been very happy with our purchase of the 6.5hp 4 stroke. It sips gas and is much quieter than the 2 strokes. I can't wait to fully enjoy this once break-in is complete!

I had first bought the 6.5hp Hangkai which was awesome, but I needed more speed for my 10ft6in Newport inflateable and to keep up with my friends who all had 12hp Mercs. After the 10hour break in, this thing is an absolute BEAST! My wife and I were the fastest dink on the lake, felt like we were barely touching the water. Fly past the 12hp Mercs like nothing now, and at 1/2 the Merc price tag. Don't hesitate just buy this motor.

So I've taken out the new hangkai 12hp outboard motor this weekend and started breaking in the motor for maximum use when 10 hours is added up for use at low speeds and rpm. I can honestly say I'm happy to have purchased the motor and very impressed with the quality and response of it 6 gallon tank 50.1 ratio oil and gas mix. I do see myself buying another one in the future for a trolling motor on the bigger boat which means probably an 18hp or lil bigger. That's all for now will post pics or vids next weekend

I bought this as a quick inexpensive solution while my other motor was in the shop waiting for parts. I was not expecting much at this price but I was pleasantly surprised with how this thing performs. Great little motor! It does exactly what it is expected to do. Starts relatively easy and is surprisingly quiet.
