This thing lives in my fridges ice container. It never lets me down. Scoops the ice perfectly. It doesn't frost over and isn't super cold to the touch like a metal scoop would be. I am more than satisfied with it's performance. I occasionally abuse it by using it to break up stuck together ice. It holds up to the abuse, shows no sign of wear.
