This is worst product i have seen, i was out of station so xoudnt used this and now when i came back and used this tawa today its useless u cannot make dosa or anything on this also they have sent wrong product to me which i ordered is not the one. Worst brand and produxt, very very disappointed looks like wasted my money

This product is worth every penny spent.. Till now I have purchased umpteen number of cast iron Tawas & wasted by money.. But this one is too good.. The Dosa just comes off so well without sticking at all.. The texture of the Dosa is just right.. Goes without saying that it is healthy option too compared to a nonstick.. The product is heavy & sturdy too.. & hence chances of Dosa getting burnt is minimal.. Even though it was mentioned as seasoned it is advisable to throughly scrub it as it is extremely muddy & then season it before using it.. I could have given 6 stars out of 5 because there is no flaw with the product but I deducted 1 star as the handle gets too hot to handle & the company should understand this & should by default provide a silicon cover with the product instead of giving Tadka Ladle free..

Product is heavy and of good quality but with one major design flaw.handle is also of iron which gets heated quickly and can cause severe burns if not aware

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very easy to use to make doses, best part is my mom doesn't have to use more oil to the pan so that the batter doesn't stick on dose pan. Also its value for money and non toxic. I have also tried making crepe and it had turned out fantastically.

I received a product with rust and I thought it’ll go with use but now the product is entirely rusted and the coating is not done properly it didn’t have with other cast iron items from many brands.

I love this Indus Valley iron tawa – perfect for healthy, chemical-free cooking. Great quality, heavy-duty, and a must-have in every kitchen. I’ve bought many of their products and they never disappoint! It is pre seasoned but Yes we must take care as it iron in order to avoid rusting.

The tawa is really good for dosas. I prefer to keep it just for making dosas, cheelas and utappas. Go for it
