Greenworks 80V 26" Brushless Hedge Trimmer with 2.0Ah Battery and 2A Charger

This was my second purchase of a Greenworks 80v product, I also have a lawnmower that has been flawless for 3 years. I have large laurel & ivy hedges surrounding my property, and while I have a gas powered hedge trimmer I was looking for something lighter, with a long blade, that I didn't have to use gas for. This fit the bill, and have been completely satisfied with it's cutting ability & reach with the longer blade. This cuts through fairly large branches of the laurel, and is a breeze to use for. Highly recommend if you need a longer reach blade for larger hedges.

Mainly got this to clear patches of sunflowers which have a thick woody stalk, and it’s done very well. The closest foot or so of the bar has longer teeth for larger diameter stuff. I started off slow and careful, but this thing rocks and now I just go with fairly reckless abandon and it doesn’t mind at all. It comes with a smaller battery than some of my other Greenworks stuff, but it’s lasted an hour of heavy cutting 3 times now. Showed one bar when I was beat but it still outlasted me. Very satisfied with the weight, maneuverability, and length. It comes with a battery and charger, great value for the money if it only lasted one season but it still works like new and I expect this to keep performing for years.

This thing is amazing, I’ve had a little wonder gas powered, it still works great when I can get it to run for more than 10 minutes at a time, decided to a battery powered one, this is awesome, cuts through very thick branches, it’s lite, the fact that you can cut it both directions is great, I read many reviews on many on battery powered units, lots of complaints about quality, having to install handles etc. this baby is ready to use out of the box, just pop the battery in and go, there’s no question about the value for the money, I used it several times and figured I would have to charge the battery, after popping the battery in the charger it still had a nearly full charge wow, very impressive, also many complaints about others when rotating the handle it was to difficult to use because you have two switches one on the handle the other the actual trigger, didn’t have any problems the safety on this one you are able to hold in almost in any position, this is a well designed unit that makes it easy to use, end of story!

When I first opened the box, I was taken back by how big the blade was, like a mid-evil sword. But after charging the battery and taking it out for a test run. I found it to be light, easy to use and very nice not to have the cord in the way. Managed a few bushes and was happy with the cut and power. Would recommend and buy again.

This hedge trimmer is lightweight and cuts my hedges precisely and with ease. This is my third purchase of GreenWorks cordless lawn and garden tools and they are easy to use and a good value. The rechargeable 80v battery is interchangeable with my other tools, which is handy.

Turned a full weekend of work into 1 or 2 hours of work!! This thing is awesome. If you're on the fence about it then do yourself a favor and pull the trigger!! You won't regret it!!

Lasted 3 hours on large shrubs. Heavy but worth it.
