Granddaughter loves creating pictures, we do them together, I don’t know who gets most pleasure playing, it’s a great immersive lose yourself in creativity.

Bought for my 5 year old daughter’s birthday. Her and her 7 year old sister sat for 2 HOURS doing these, easy to use. Plenty pictures and stickers included so lots of entertainment value

This kit comes with 10 backdrop scenes, which measure 29.5cm x 21cm and are about 1mm thick.Then you have 10 sheets of foam stickers, which are sticky on both sides (when the protective covers are removed). The sheets measure 15cm x 21.25cm and are about 2mm thick. The stickers are varied sizes but on counting a couple of sheets I count 31 on one and avove 40 on another (I lose confident count at 42).There are 10 colours of foil, from plain black to glittery colours, to a rainbow coloured sheet. There are 10 sheets of each colour, and each sheet measures a shade under 10cm x 10cm. (Trying to get these back into the cellophane bag was tricky, and I slightly damaged one with the sticky seal when taking them out!!)Then you have a small bag of 20 wibbly eyes, and an instruction leaflet.The box says 3+. but I personally wouldn't give it to a child under 5 as I think they would need too much help.When I requested this it was £10.99, but even at the current £11.99 it's good value.

My 4 year old son loves craft kits, but I find that they often require a great deal of adult supervision.This one is perfect. I only had to show him once how to remove the stickers, take off the front "backing" and then lay on the shiny sheets and rub.He has repeatedly gone back to this kit and even chooses to do it in the morning allowing us to stay in bed!There are a lot of sticky sheets, back grounds and shiny sheets in the box so this should last quite a long time.A really great craft kit that is providing a lot of fun in our house.

I sat down with my daughter today and we had a look at this kit. I was surprised at just how much it consists of - ten different background scenes (the instructions call them canvases, they are pretty scenes that are about the size of a mouse mat - underwater, sky, flowers etc, the art is actually pretty high quality), ten pages of foam stickers and loads of small colourful holographic foil squares, plus a little pack of googly eyes (always fun!).I've not seen this type of kit before but the concept is very simple. You choose the sticker that you want, peel the backing off to position it on your chosen background canvas. You then peel the front of the sticker off and press the holographic foil over it. You gently rub it and then pull the foil away and the bit that was on the sticker remains. The foam stickers have different sections to peel so that you can use different coloured foils to create the scene. Occasionally the foils do 'bleed' on to other sticky bits, so perfectionists may find this slightly frustrating.The best thing about it is that once I showed my four year old how it worked, she was able to do it without needing too much parental help. If your child has the dexterity to peel stickers, they will manage to create with this set! The only real 'mess' are the sticker backings but that's quite easy to tidy up when finished. The foam stickers do smell a little bit plasticky I thought.This craft set would make a nice present for a child between the ages of 3-10 years. I feel the price is reasonable and in line with other similar craft sets. The fact that there are so many stickers/canvases and foil sheets means it will last a while. Would recommend.

I am always looking for new crafts to try with my nanny charges and grandchildren. This kit is perfect for all ages, apart from very young ones. The picture sheets for applying stickers are thick and sturdy. The range of sticker sheets you get allows for a lot of different applications, not just the attached sheets. The stickers have good adhesion on a variety of surfaces. You get a lot of foil sheets in various different colours. The adhesion of the foil in the stickers is for the most part ok but we did find we needed to go over some areas more than once. The colours are vibrant. My only gripe is that over time, and play, the foil does lose its sheen and some parts of the stickers lost the foil totally but wouldn’t allow for further foil being added on. This is mainly down to the fact that the picture sheets were played with a lot rather than being on display so it wouldn’t be an issue if they were for display only. I’d definitely get more of these in the future.
