This is a good product

We have installed two sets of treads and the treads themselves are good. But the screws that come with them are completely inadequate - they rusted quickly and broke. Taking them out and replacing them with stronger screws was difficult and took much more time than just installing the treads. I strongly urge those buying the treads to buy sturdier screws at a local hardware store so you don't end up having the redo the installation.

The main reason I bought the product was to prevent slipping on the ramp to my shed but the product was just as slippery as my wooden shed ramp itself. It wasn't made properly. The product grooves / holes weren't fabricated to prevent slipping. Good try though. And I cant return it because it was so hard to install that it would take 2-3 hours to uninstall it. So I'll have to eat the product cost I guess.

Very durable, easy to install. Durability is superior to adhesive anti slip options. Got another set for second house. Since the supplied screws are showing rust after 1 year, I purchased non rust screws for a new set which I just installed on a second home. Black metal runs hot under Texas sun, which the dogs had to get used to.

After reading reviews, I bought 1 inch stainless screws to use. The product is very nice and I installed in about 2 hrs!

The idea of studs on the treads drew me to them. But after laying them down, I am not convinced the rounded metal studs provide more traction. Especially when they are wet, and where I live, it's wet a lot. They make me wanna drill through the top of every stud to provide some teeth to the grab when I walk on them. Maybe an idea for a future update to this product...?
