Jaws meet right up to the tip.
I've been gathering up a number of Knipex hand tools including pliers. I have to say that these Ryobi long nose pilers feel every bit as good. They fit and feel very nice in the hand. My last Knipex combination pliers jaws fractionally just didn't meet! These jaws meet right up to the tip. Hardened teeth and 2mm diameter wire cutter. Though I'd have no issues using them to cut 2.5mm twin and earth. Limited lifetime warranty.
