Sensky 3 in 1 PIR Motion Sensor Light Switch with Occupancy Sensor/Vacancy Sensor/On-Off,2-Wire Technology, 5A, AC110~265V,PC Fireproof(No Neutral Wire Required)

This is a two wire sensor and will replace any single light switch. It is quite deep, at around 30mm so be sure to have enough room to install it behind your existing face plate. It fitted the existing switch mounting box in our walk-in wardrobe perfectly (Installed in a wooden fascia, not a plastered wall). Worked straight away after powering the lighting circuit back up and I find the default sensor settings to be perfect for our needs. I like the fact that all the settings can be changed from the two buttons on the front if required. (Some units need to be dismantled to adjust them). Works well with our LED light strip and LED ceiling lights combination. This is well built, easy to install and seems good value for money. Looks good too!

Great pice of kit, fully programmable using the three buttons. No App required. This is fitted in my Pantry and set to turn on as soon as the door is opened and then turns off 1 minute after closing the door. This tied in to operating an LED lamp makes for good economics too.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Easy to install

You can tell that this is a quality item as soon as you open the box. Fitted straight into my flush back box without the need of a spacer. Doesn't require a neutral connection so can be directly substituted for a standard switch. Wiring is a bit fiddly as you have to dismantle to get to the terminal screws but at least they are not exposed like the last PIR sensor I fitted. Fairly easy to program using the 2 buttons on the front of the unit so you do not need to dismantle to adjust. So far very happy with my purchase.

Excellent quality and value motion sensing switch. Nice styling and look. This switch has variuos modes and timer settings making it very veratile. Importantly, it only requires 1 wire (live wire feed in and out to load) and not both live and neutral like some other types need, which is great as many existing light switches do not use/have a neutral wire in the switch backplate. Included intruction are simple enough to understand, as is setting up. (the default setting as supplied will probably be fine for most applications)., but can be configured and adjusted for various situations. This unit will fit inside a 25mm deep pattress box. I use these to replace ceiling mounted "pull cord" bathroom light switches, which it is perfect for, alothough they can be used to replace any conventional wall light switch. They will work with all types of lighting uild types. Overall very happy with this item. It appears do so everything you would need from this type of motion sensing switch. I would recommend to others and and I would purchase again..

Looks sturdy and does the job!

The installation instructions that come with this Sensky 3 in 1 PIR Motion Sensor Light Switch can only be described as basic at best. To install the switch, you firstly have to take the front cover off to get access to the two wall mounting holes, which, in my opinion, is quite a tricky job in itself. You then have to remove the PIR sensor and operation switch covers to gain access to the two, wire securing screws. You'll have to work all this out for yourself, because none of this is mentioned anywhere in the instruction leaflet. So if you are a DIY electrician, or have not had any kind of experience fitting this type of sensor before, this may not be the best switch for you. In fairness, I does work quite well once it's installed, however, I would strongly recommend hanging on to the operation leaflet, as it is a very complicated, button pressing and holding procedure to switch between the three different modes, which in my opinion, would be almost impossible to do by trial and error.

Bought it on 29 April and it worked well until yesterday - 9 November. Just over six months is a poor show even for a cheap Chinese product. Definitely not value for money.
