Needed for a university course. Good primer on Data Science, with lots of instruction on using pandas, seaborn and some scikit-learn. Helps if you wish to continue on to learning more data mining applications.

Didn't explain Python programming to me.

Compared to the O'Reilly book on the same subject, this one uses more current Python libraries and is in color, which makes a big difference when differentiating data in graphs.
