So, there are those out there that may not like aspects of this product. For starters, you will likely get cleaning fluid on your hands. If this turns you off, run from this product. If you don’t mind, run to this product. It works very well. One thing I would recommend is to NOT leave power to the injector on for more than a tap. I tapped the positive link to the positive battery post while holding down the injector mold on the fuel cleaner. You have to take the red sprayer off of the cleaner. Carborator cleaner is pretty much the same thing as fuel injector cleaner. I left power on the injector one for a few seconds at the end to observe the flow of fuel from the injector to make sure it was uniform etc. Again, this works very well but you will likely get some fuel cleaner on your hands. A shop towel will help with this problem. Simply plug in the power cord (2 provided so see which one fits) into your injector, put injector into white round opening and take bottom of white tube and place over top of carb cleaner. Make sure it is an aerosol version of carb cleaner. If your injector is dirty or being blocked, this should do the trick.

These parts worked great for cleaning injectors for a couple of different cars. It was a messy job, but the parts did a good job of cleaning the injectors.

The kit has two types of electrical plugs that fit on to your injectors, luckily one of them fit mine. For my Mazda 3, 6, Cx-7, Cx-9 injectors the nozzle adapter did not make a tight enough seal. I modified it by cutting off a 3/8" barbed fitting from a sprinkler funny pipe PVC elbow. I then pushed the barbed end into the nozzle adapter and epoxied around it for good measure. So while the injector is pushed into the barbed end and with the nozzle adapter pressed down on a pressurized can of solvent, Brakleen, Berrymans etc. there should be no solvent escaping except when you touch one of the battery leads to a battery. Please take precautions with flammable solvents and try to keep the injector, nozzle adapter as far away as possible from your battery, upwind if possible to avoid sparking a fire.

You can go on U-tube and learn how to make your own (which I did) but these are a really good inexpensive alternative that worked for me on 2 different motorcycle injectors ( a BMW and a Kawasaki). Includes 2 different size fittings and is easy to use.

My truck has 150,000 miles on it and hasn't been getting quite as good fuel mileage as it had been in the past. I suspected the fuel injectors may have accumulated some "gunk" over the years so decided to give this kit a try. There are two electrical connectors, and two injector holders. I just picked the pair that fit my injectors and got two cans of carburetor and fuel injector cleaner (the ones that have a nozzle on top) (only needed one can) and got to work. I followed the instructions in my Dodge shop manual for relieving fuel pressure and disconnecting the injectors. I placed an injector one at a time in the holder, held onto that combination tightly with one hand, while pushing the holder down onto the can's vertical nozzle. I then completed the electric circuit by tapping the battery a few seconds with the other hand (which opens the injector) and the cleaner was forced through the injector. Truck seems to run smoother and the MPG readout shows better mileage on a local trip than before.

Very very messy to use. More of the carb cleaner gets on you than in the fuel injector. I'll try to fix this with a couple of O-rings. It will do the job, but I'd hate to clean very many with this. Remember that the carb fluid will swell any o-ring you use, so don't use the ones you will be using to re-install the fuel injector.

Easy to use and u can tell that the injectors getting clean while using product! Injector was spraying 2’-3’ feet across shop and once cleaned they were spraying 6’-8’ feet !

I made one of these years ago and needed another one so I figured I’d just buy this as it’s the same idea as my old setup. It worked and did the job I needed it to do but it was a bit messy and leaked a lot of cleaner no matter how slow and steady I was. But with more practice perhaps I could do better.

Worked as expected, once I had figured out a way of retaining the injectors in the socket using cable ties.

Does the job. Cheap and effective

Had to modify slightly to fit my Bosch injector but did the job in the end.

Used for my car. Working good but I didn’t tryed spray adapter as there is no can spray in Canada. Welcome to Canada.
