Alright, so I just got my hands on the Asus ROG LOKI SFX-L Platinum 1000W PSU, and let me tell you, I'm pretty stoked about it. First off, installation was a breeze. The instructions were super clear, and the fully modular design made cable management an absolute dream. My build looks incredibly neat now, and the airflow is much better because of it. Performance-wise, this thing is a champ. It's been running flawlessly for me, and it's surprisingly quiet. I love the OLED display – it's actually really handy for keeping an eye on my system's power consumption. Plus, it just looks cool. It comes with all the modern cables you could need, including a full 600W GPU connector, which is awesome for newer graphics cards. Overall, if you're building a small form factor PC and need a powerful, efficient, and good-looking PSU, I'd highly recommend this one. It's a solid choice!

Fancy PSU, overpriced but the looks make it worth it
Tiny little beast! I 100% bought this based on looks, judge me I don't mind! While building on Lian Li A3 white, Asus ROG B850-G and AERO 5080 SFF this PSU was just what I needed to complete the look and provide power to my PC. It's overpriced like all Asus ROG line product are, you know that but you still buy it because they look good. Cables are AMAZING, you won't need to buy any mods as the included ones are easy to work with, very soft. Overall love how it looks and quality seems to be good, only time will tell, nice touch to have RGB on the fan and nice that can be controlled by the MB

Great PSU for power hungry builds
Really happy with this PSU so far. It feels solid, runs quiet, and has had no issues powering my setup. The modular cables made the build a lot cleaner. Overall, a great pick if you want something reliable and stable.

ASUS TUF 850W-G: A solid PSU ideal for futureproofing with brand-new 12VHPWR, 12-pin, cable
I recently picked up the ASUS TUF 850W Gold-rated PSU for close to 90 quid and it has exceeded my expectations. This powerhouse delivers rock-solid stability with 80+ Gold efficiency, ensuring clean and reliable power for high-performance builds; even those with demanding GPUs. The fully modular design makes cable management a breeze, keeping the build neat and airflow unobstructed. Plus, the silent yet efficient cooling keeps temperatures in check, even under heavy loads. == PROS: + 80+ Gold efficiency – Features solid protection against power fluctuations. + Fully modular – Easy cable management and clean builds + ATX 3.1 Compatible – Relatively standardised form factor allowing for ATX 3.0 and 3.1 compatibility + 850W power – Plenty of headroom for upgrades + High-quality components – Reliable and durable + Quiet operation – Effective cooling with minimal noise CONS: - Cables could be slightly more flexible - No RGB (if that matters to you) - 850W of Power does mean CPU, MOBO (in the form of MOSFET), and GPU can run hot. Would need adequate cooling or adjusting fan settings to ensure (e.g., MOS temps) are regulated. - Comes with both the traditional 16-pin PCI-E and the new 12VHPWR (12V-6X2) connector, though the naming could be clearer for newer builders as the new connector is labelled as the 16-pin PCI-E. == Overall, at this price point, it's a no-brainer for futureproofing. 850W provides plenty of headroom for upgrades, making it a smart investment for both current-gen and next-gen hardware. If you want a dependable, well-built PSU that won’t let you down, this one is an easy recommendation, especially for something as vital for your PC as the PSU. ~Shaker

Price moving rapid, but unit is very good
Brought from Amazon EU and shipped to UK fine. Sadly or rather woo me, I picked it up for £268 and 20 days later dropped to under £240! I suspect as Corsair have a 1000w SFX unit which is like the £220 mark. Anyways as a unit its quality. it is a SFX-L unit and I imagine most picking it up are doing as they have a SFX case, just be aware being a -L unit, it may not fit into all SFX cases. Fortunately for me, no issue. For me it is a ITX living room PC as I tend to play on a larger tv now, so want a compact PC but still pack a punch, in this case the PSU is hooked up to a RTX 4090FE and Ryzen 7800 X3D that packs a punch. Truth be told, even with power slider cranked up, usually in most games sit around 500w with some peaks to 600w or thereabout with some drives and a bunch of RGB. As a result this PSU is more the capable. Now on the cable side, it comes with a pair of CPU power cables, a single PCIe to PCIe cable which is odd on initial glace, but it also comes with a 12 pin HPWR cable which terminates into 2 x PCIe cables. That means you get up to 3 PCIe cables or GPU's which will allow most on the market, even those with 3x8 pin to work fine like the 7900 xtx Red devil card. Aside from that, if you have a 40 series GPU with a HPWR cable, then its a nice single cable solution. I have gone for custom sleeved cables, it uses the same pinout as the Seasonic Focus series, so easy to get custom cables for it. In terms of noise, even when stressing it to 700w it stays pretty quiet, now admittedly I sit 2m or so away and PC is custom loop, but even up close, no weird whine. RGB wise, it connects to a Digital / 3 pin RGB header to control the light show, or leave it unplugged if you want to avoid the light show. In all, the unit does what you expect, a quality 1000w unit that will power pretty much any gaming PC and CPU / GPU pairing you can have (outside of very extreme stuff that is not really suited for gaming anyways like Threadripper stuff or OC'd workstation chips). it runs quiet and price is fair, more so after I brought it it seems for what you get, always gonna be a slight premium at times of quality SFX units.

Well built, quiet and high performance PSU.
Bought a ROG STRIX 1000W Gold Aura Edition to replace an aging Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W that had an annoying coil whine under load. So far ROG STRIX 1000W Gold Aura Edition is a brilliant power supply unit for my needs. It is really efficient with 80 PLUS Gold Certified and seems to run cool. Most importantly for me it is silent under light load and very quiet under full load. Personally I love the included cables and believe that if you are getting a PSU you should invest in a fully modular one (it makes setup so much easier). Now the ROG STRIX 1000W Gold Aura Edition comes with RGB but my case obscures it (Fractal Design North XL) and even if I could see it I prefer a silent dark case and wish there was a button on the back to turn off all lights. In conclusion it feels really well built and quiet. If I could turn off the lights with a button I would rate it 5 stars.

ROG Loki SFX-L 1000W PSU is perfect for my O11 Mini, powering my RTX 4090 and 9950X effortlessly.
I recently installed the ROG Loki SFX-L 1000W Platinum Power Supply in my build featuring an O11 Mini case, a powerful RTX 4090, and a Ryzen 9 9950X, and I couldn’t be happier. This PSU is a perfect fit for compact cases like the O11 Mini, delivering a whopping 1000W of reliable power in a sleek, space-saving design. The 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency keeps my system running cool and my energy bills lower. What really stands out is the performance. The PSU handles the high demands of the RTX 4090 and Ryzen 9 9950X effortlessly, providing stable power even under load. The quiet 120mm fan, with its hybrid mode, keeps noise to a minimum, which is a huge plus for a quiet computing environment. Cable management is a breeze with the fully modular design, allowing for a clean and efficient build. Overall, the ROG Loki SFX-L 1000W Platinum has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're building a high-performance system in a compact case, this PSU is an excellent choice. I absolutely love it!

A good mid level purchase for when you want something up to covering most standard pc tasks.
A good mid level ranking power supply, has been ticking along dependably for a number of years now. Quiet and the rails on this one seem pretty stable, seems like it will keep running reliably for quite a number of years to come.
