It deep cleans my hair and scalp. It smells like lemons which makes it even better

here is my honest take:PROS: Avalon Organics Lemon Shampoo has a really great fresh smell. I feel more awake when using it in the morning after I have peeled myself from the night's slumber. It really helps get the conditioner and leave in oil out of my hair - which is great. I have to use conditioner and leave in oil because I have wavy to curly hair, and getting the buildup of products I use out of my hair is crucial. Avalon does the trick, and it is a health and environmentally safe product. It is EWG reviewed, meaning it is on the safe list of products for me that do not have hormone disrupting chemicals. This has a very reasonable price point for a safe and high quality product. It is inexpensive, but not cheap.CONS: Any safe product is not going to suds up as much as unsafe products. Sometimes I need to lather twice to get all the residue out, so this product doesn't last me as long. However, the quality makes up for it.

I am very picky when it comes to hair products. I have an oily scalp, dry ends, thin hair but a lot of it. I have hard water and sensitive skin that reacts to everything. This is the only shampoo that can cleanse my scalp and wont make me break out in a rash or pimples. Due to my skin type I tend to need sulfate free shampoos, but sulfate free shampoos do not remove the mineral build up in my hair. This leaves my hair so clean and paired with a good conditioner my hair has never looked or felt better. If you are not oily it may be on the drying side but for me it is perfect. I also have less shedding!*side note: I wish they had a conditioner without coconut oil because that clogs my pores so bad, until they do, I'll just be a two brand hair washer currently trying the sheamoisture honey.

Smells nice, I love a a lemon shampoo. It’s pretty basic.

I like this shampoo and would purchase it again. My hair felt very clean & I love the smell of lemon so this product is a win win for me.
