This is the only product I've found that works in response to opening a cooler. It works great. I love this product. The adhesive doesn't hold, but I expected that given the cooler interior is plastic. Just use a dab of silicone. Keep it in place with painters tape while it cures. You don't have to buy an entire caulking tube. You can get small resealable tubes for everyday household stuff.

This is a really cute little gift, perfect for Father’s Day…my Dad is getting it tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts, but I love the idea for camping. Always need a cold drink, even in the dark. This will help find the one you want! Great idea!

This is a good idea for a cooler. I have been fumbling for drinks in the dark enough times to appreciate even a small light. This one puts off enough light that you can at least see what you're grabbing. The only problem I have with it is it has to be perfectly level to go off. The slightest movement toward vertical, which is how it will be with the cooler lid open, it activates. This tells me it will be on the whole time if you're cooler isn't perfectly level. Not that it matters, it's certainly not generating enough heat to be an issue but the battery life will be affected. Then you're left in the dark afraid you're going to accidentally grab your wife's diet drink instead of your preferred beverage. First world problems, right?

Didn't work well, and the light is too dim to be any help

Ordered two. One works perfect. Light goes where you need it. The other one lights up all the time. Mercury switch must have an issue. It was lit when I opened the box. But…. For the price I feel I got a good deal on the one. Update: This company made good on the defective unit. I’d do business with them in the future over and over again. Old fashioned customer service!

It is very bright and a great concept. I saw reviews saying to use a stronger adhesive and they are right. Mine fell in the water and immediately stop working.

In the company photos they said theirs is better than the competitors, the poor unit they show clearly says Picebow on it and it has the dark grey tape... the one they sent to me is actually their COMPETITORS product (you can see the competitor name and the darker tape)... the one that they themselves said is poor quality! Sure enough, it immediately fell apart. Don't buy!
