Looks good works a treat (wash, wash, wash)
Amazing quality but rinse very well until no cloud or murky water. Great for shrimps tanks to help them contrast against the substrate. First time using the product recently and I’m adding to all tanks to enhance my aquascaping attempts. If you have Corey or other bottom feeders, you may want to use sparsely and still have sanded areas for those that nuzzle subrate for food. Easy to gravel vac Highly recommended, any questions just ask

Another great product from Seachem
Great inert substrate if you don’t want to alter your water chemistry by using substrates like aqua soil etc. Can’t speak to its utility for planted tanks as I’m using it in a sparsely planted shrimp breeding tank. Incredibly dusty so be sure to rinse thoroughly before adding it to aquarium. Rinse in a bucket until water runs clear and be careful when filling aquarium not to disturb it.

Working well...
Added to my normal sand / coral substrate as adding plants to this tank. Plants seem to love this addition to the subsstratr and growing beautifully so far.

Nice touch to any tank
I purchased this as I needed to fill the bottom of my 300l tank and I wanted to add a different substrate to my Fluval stratum. This looks nice while adding some extra nutrients for my plants. Pros: •Helps my plants with all the nutrients they need to thrive in a tank. •Looks nice and clean with a natural feel to it. Cons: •The package says to rinse beforehand but it just never goes clean, so the tank will become cloudy and look dirty for a little. Overall this product was what I was looking for and is a nice addiction to any tank. It’s easy to use and straight forward on how to add to the tank. For the price, I would buy again and recommend however I could see it getting rather expensive depending on tank size.

Ripped bags but great quality.
I bought 4 bags and every one was ripped. This didn't happen in transit as one of them were taped up. I'm not weighing them to make sure I got what I paid for but I did lose a lot inside the packaging. My husband is very happy with the product. He knows it has to be rinsed very well before he uses it so there are absolutely no issues with the quality of the product. 10/10 would recommend and buy again.

Used Flourite to replace 66% of the gravel in my 200l aquarium while the fish were in it. Washed the Flourite in colander till water was clear. 1) Removed plants and vacuumed old gravel. 2) Took out the gravel where the plants were (fish loved it, kept getting in the way, especially the guppies) this did cause murkiness. 3) Waited an hour for murkiness to subside, added the Flourite and it definitely did not add to murkiness. 4) Filled aquarium, ran filter for two hours, water quite clear. 5) Switch of filters, replace plants. 6) Switch on filters (2 internal canister filters and under gravel filter with 3 200l/h power heads). Two hours later water 90% clear, by morning glass clear. I also used the same batch of Flourite for a new 50l nano tank, zero murkiness. Have had aquariums for 30 years, used many gravels that I always pre-washed, so I can confidently state that the Flourite after washing is among the cleanest substrates. Fish all alive and well and plants definitely happier than in my old plain gravel.

Bought this for my new 75gal tank that will be planted. I love it, it looks amazing and most of the reviews complained about it leaving a thick grey film or really cloudy water well it says right on the bags to rinse it, so that what I did, I used an old wash tub with a window screen over it and a medium sized colander. I did one bag at a time, poured it into the colander and rinsed it with a low flow of water, mixing it until the water ran mostly clear. Put it in my tank and the water was a little cloudy but 24 hours later with my filter running the water is crystal clear. I would definitely buy this again for another aquarium.
