I have to say, I was impressed with the qualify of this falafel mould. I have used 2 different brands, but they were not as good, I have just used it for the first time. You will feel it as you start to load the mould with your falafel mix, that it is sturdy and will allow to finish the job quickly and efficiently . The size is a bit smaller than what I wanted but I still would not complain much about that, as I was able to get the Mould with the quality I wanted. photos in reviews for the falafel I've just made using this Mould. it tasted and looked like the falafel we used to buy, if not even better. I thought the price was reasonable, and I would definitely recommend as I was happy with this purchase.

I love this! It is faster and easier than shaping by hand and each piece is uniform and perfectly shaped. It does make smaller pieces than my hand-formed ones, but I consider 1 serving to be two of my hand formed ones and this makes roughly three smaller pieces per every two of my hand formed pieces, so no big deal. May want to cook them slightly less time than normal though. Someone complained that you can’t take the scoop apart to clean it, but it comes completely apart for cleaning.

It's a cool idea but its heavy and makes the falafals a bit too big

Works well. It is a perfect size for making falafels. Easy to clean. And for a good price.

Works the way it is supposed to do; it makes uniform falafel balls. I am concerned about it durably, however. The tab that controls the piston seems to be threaded to the shaft with threads that are not very deep or thick; I am not sure for how long it will take the repeated force of holding it down and springing back up. But then the spring looks pretty fragile; perhaps they will break at the same time. Also, spring is not stainless steel or tin plated, so must be dried by hand after washing. Also there are no use or care instructions whatsoever. Overall nice gadget; does what it is intended to do, but I doubt it will be durable.
