Once again VIVOSUN has made a great product
Once again VIVOSUN has made a great product! My entire growing setup is all VIVOSUN and I don’t have 1 complaint. They all work extremely well together, easy setup, and great quality. I’ve read many reviews on this irrigation system. I’m not sure why people are giving bad reviews. Follow the instructions and keep your tubing tight (not a lot of slack) and even lengths. I turned the pump speed to about 50% 2 stakes per 5gal pot. It takes about 12min depending on your medium to get adequate runoff. People complain about tent flooding. Well you need to expect runoff so I purchased some elevated trip trays and the system works flawlessly! I recommend flushing your pots about every couple weeks to prevent nutrient lock but other than that it saves tons of time and keeps my plants healthy!

Apend the extra $10 for the one with a smart plug timer.
I recommend spending the extra $10 to buy the 16 emitter kit with the smart plug. Way worth it. I am tempted to buy it when I get some extra cash. The timer is ok but you have to pay attention and recheck all settings. Watch it for a few days to make sure you don't have to adjust timing cycles, flow on the pump or both. I had one side that didn't work and found out that I had to cut a slight bit off of the tip that pushes into the 4-way splitter. It was in too far and impeded the water flow. Also flush your system from time to time to ensure that the emitters don't clog.

Absolute Junk, I bought 2!
Well I bought two of these useless units and had the same.problems with both, so it wasn't just a bad one. 1. Plugs on timers Plugs on timers won't hold a plug, pump plug is constantly falling out of the socket, there's two plugs in the timer, neither hold a plug. This was a problem with both kits 2. Timers Timers loose programming and completely reset themselves randomly once a week. This has also been a problem with both kits. Tubing. The tubing for my drip emitters was pinched off and kinked, so flow was restricted. Since the lines come pre assembled and hot water didn't help, I had to cut it all apart and shorten all my tubes to make it work. While one kit was much worse than the other, this too was a problem with both kits. First thing I replaces was their emitters. Neither pc or leak free, the rest was as follows Honestly this kit is a joke. Nothing in it worked right times 2 and all it did was show me how to assemble a micro drip when I source parts that will work. Avoid this! Just buy quality components separately. Same price, much more reliable.

Water those plants!
This VIVOSUN drip irrigation kit has been a game changer for my indoor and outdoor plants. The setup was straightforward, and once everything was connected, it worked flawlessly. The timer and pump combo makes it so easy to schedule watering, and I love that I can set it to deliver just the right amount of water without worrying about over- or under-watering. The drip emitters distribute water evenly, and the system handles multiple plants at once with no problem. It’s especially helpful when I’m away for a few days—my plants stay perfectly watered and healthy without me having to rely on anyone else.

Good value for a good starting kit
We have a vegetable garden on the third floor porch of a condo, so there's no water faucet to connect a drip system to. I think for the money, this is a bargain. But for us it was more of the basics to get started and we added from there. I don't remember the hose sizes, but they're not quite standard if you end up buying some aftermarket parts. If you heat up the end of the tubes with some boiling water, then it's fairly easy to make connections even on slightly different inside diameter tubes and accessories. The pump is pretty darn, strong, and I'm running probably closer to sixteen drippers than eight. I don't have any problems getting enough water flow. Plus the pump is a couple feet lower than most of the drip spikes, so it has to pump water up as well and you often lose a lot of head pressure doing that. It wasn't a problem for me to run sixteen drippers. I bought a 28 gallon storage container because we were going through five gallons, pretty quickly. Since we have so many plants of different sizes and water needs, I bought some shut off valves that I can use to tweak water output to each line. I found that immensely useful as my the seven foot tall bougainvillea takes a lot more water than my chives or rosemary. For the money, I don't think you can beat it. There have been backflow issues, which is not a manufacturing defect (but it would be nice if they added something to prevent backflow coming off of the pump's main line). I imagine many complaints about leaking are just people who haven't made good connections. Get yourself a coffee cup of boiling water and heat up the end of the hoses to make sure they are fully attached. Once they cool you should have a snug, water tight connection. The connectors are injection mold plastic. I would recommend taking a nail file or exacto knife and clean up any plasric edges from the mold around the connection, otherwise these can break off and clop your dripper. For a few plants it's perfect. For our needs, it was a fantastic starting place.

The timer and the pump are ok but the dripper system is uneven and doesn't water that well you can get much better irrigation by buying the items seperately on amazon and tailor it to your needs.
