Saves money on batteries.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased an XTU Camera last year which I have connected to the mains with a 6v adapter and have been using it every day since with no problems at all. I wanted another camera but the position I wanted it to be in was too far away from being able to connect it to the mains. Then I found this XTU Camera with a Solar Panel on Amazon which recharges a built-in Lithium Battery. This meant I could place it anywhere (as long as it's not in total shade during the day) and not have to worry about replacing the 4 x AA batteries all the time, which is good for the environment and is also saving me money by not having to buy replacement batteries.Once I had fully charged the Lithium battery, I found that it had only used 20% of it's charge during filming overnight for about 8 hours. The solar panel was then able to fully charge the Lithium Battery during the daytime. I still had to insert 4 x AA 1.5v batteries for a back-up just in case for any reason the Lithium Battery did run out.The camera was relitively easy to set up once I had read the well written and easy to understand supplied Instruction Booklet. There are two supplied methods to mount the camera, one being a strap to go round a tree or post and the other being a fully adjustable metal bracket with included screws etc.The video and photo images are bright and clear and there are a couple of ways to retrieve these, using the supplied USB cable to connect to a laptop/tablet or simply by turning the camera off and removing the 32Gb Micro SD card (suppied) and inserting it into a card reader or your laptop. The camera proved to be waterproof because the other evening we had a heavy downpour, but the next morning there had been no water ingress at all. There's also a facility to be able to fit a lockable device to deter opportunist thieves (as shown in one of my attached photos). This is an excellent, reliable camera to own, it's quality built, does everthing that's stated in the Sellers description and best of all, it's good for the environment by not having to keep replacing batteries and is also good for my Wallet.

High quality trail cam for the money
A great trail cam for the price.ProsExcellent quality picturesVery good priceGreat to have solar powerVery easy to set upConsThe screen is on the inside so it's difficult to position it very accurately. The tripod screw is on the back, so it won't work on our existing wall mount or tripod unless it has a 90 degree. It does come with a mount but the mount is fixed, if you want a mobile mount then it's a bit of a problem.Overall if you don't mind the screen being on the inside and the tripod screw issue then it's a great piece of kit.

Good camera but the lens can fog over when the temperature changes overnight
Easy to use and install but doesn't like sudden temperature changes overnight. However, it clears after a time. Reasonable quality video and photos after dark. Battery life good enough provided it's sunny during the day. Value for money I'd give 7/10 based on the quality of the photos and videos taken after dark.

Great purchase
The camera comes with a built-in 3.7V/2500mAh rechargeable lithium battery and also has a solar powered panel mounted ontop for extra power. Ontop of that, there is an included sd card which allows you to get right to installing as you wont need to buy a new one. Not only this, The camera is 4k and 48mp which is the equivalent of a high end smartphone. Also, there is night vision which night vision which is quite useful when scouting out for foxes. Overall I think it’s a great product to buy considering its pros and cons. It has a great radius for recording and also is quite cheap for its price. Would definitely recommend.

Quality commensurate with price
Video quality not quite as sharp as, say, a £200 Browning, but then that's a large £s difference. And Brownings don't last nearly as long as they ought to either, considering the outlay.Weatherproofing not as good as it should be, given that it is an outdoor device. Moisture can creep in due to capillary action via the SD card slot. The micro SD card itself is a tad fiddly - easily dropped, and really not suited to this application; full size SD would be far better. However, all said, not a bad camera for the price. Not a huge loss should it go wrong, compared to the massive disappointment of the failure of those unreliable Brownings.

Easy to use and view recorded video. I bought it to watch fox cubs in garden..however a bit freaked out when I filmed a rat. Clear vision and used battery backup.
