Great watch for young kids giving them some independence while also giving us parents some peace of mind! We got a cheap SIM card & popped it into the watch. The imoo app is relatively straightforward to setup & connect to the watch. We got this as our daughter is going to be walking to school on her own now & we can easily check on her location using the app which gives us a real-time & pretty accurate image of where she is on a satellite image map. She can call us, send us voice or video messages & take photos from the watch. As a parent we can call her like we would any other phone from our contacts or video call/message from within the app. She can only call numbers that we add through the app & we can connect other family members like grandparents through the app too to form family group chats which is nice. All in all a great device with lots of functionality. Brilliant as a go between before giving your child access to a smart phone & social media, while still being able to easily stay in contact & locate them.

I got the imoo Watch Z1 for my son, and he loves it! It looks cool and is comfy to wear. He enjoys the bright screen and can call me and make video calls, which is great. It’s a safe watch since only parents can manage his calls, which gives me peace of mind. The GPS helps me keep track of him when he’s out playing, and he can take pictures with his friends too. The battery lasts a long time. Overall, it's a great watch for kids! I highly recommend this watch Xx

After a few days with the imoo Z1, really impressed so far. The companion app is clean, quick to set up, and makes adding family members simple, which is great for day-to-day check-ins and calls. The hardware feels well built and sturdy enough for kids’ use. The speaker is on the front, which noticeably improves call clarity compared to the Xplora X6. Video calling works out of the box (a feature Xplora lacks), and despite very similar dimensions, the Z1 somehow wears smaller on the wrist, which my kid prefers. The screen is a touch smaller than the X6 but still vibrant and sharp enough for messages and video chats. After having charging issues with the Xplora around the one‑year mark (and needing to replace it yearly due to breakages), hoping the imoo holds up better over time. Overall, really like the watch right now—if durability matches the first impressions, this will be a clear step up from Xplora for our family.

Good Product, using this with a GoMo SIM, which required the APN settings to be manually imputted. But once the correct settings were applied the watch resolved the time sync and messaging issues. Price seemed reasonable, and my daughter (age 10) is really pleased with it.

It keeps turning off ehen its 75% battery .

I bought these for my 12-year-old to track location and stay in contact. The first unit kept freezing randomly — completely unresponsive, even with 70–80% battery. Only connecting to the charger would bring it back to life. I returned it and ordered a brand new replacement — and guess what? Same issue. Random total freezes, requiring a charger to reboot. Now imagine this: your child is out, and the watch freezes. No GPS. No calls. No way for them to reach you. What’s the point then? These are marketed as a safety device for kids — but if it freezes silently and becomes unreachable, that defeats the whole purpose. Completely unacceptable. Do not recommend.

You cannot text with this product; you can text the child, but the child cannot text back - super frustrating as that is the reason I bought it. Also it is switching off and we have to plug it back in to kick start it on Very unreliable
