Feels nice
I bought this out of curiosity. When it arrived I thought the bristles would be too soft to get through my hair to reach my scalp. I am African American with thick hair. It reaches my scalp and the massaging action feels really good. It doesn't leave my hair tangled. I've only used it while shampooing but I'm pretty sure the massage would feel great on dry hair just for the benefit of relaxation. The price is right and for me it was a good investment.

Great Scalp scrubber!! Great for long hair!
This is my first scalp scrubber. I have Seborrheic Dermatitis that creates patches of flaky scalp. Have tried brushing and different shampoos and argan oil, but none a solution. I have long thick hair and this works great. Read lots of reviews with people commenting on issues with hair length. If you are using this as a scalp scrubber then hair length is not an issue because your using a scrubbing motion on the scalp with shampoo in the shower. I also bought Pure Tea Tree Oil Shampoo - Natural Essential Oil Anti-Dandruff Shampoo For Dry Itchy & Flaky Scalp - Anti-fungal & Anti-Bacterial - Sulfate Free Hydrating Cleanser - Prevent Head Lice & Thinning Hair that I would highly recommend. Smells great, minimal amount needed, lathers easily, and best is no flakes!!! Suggest buying both together! The scrubber is well made and well designed to fit comfortably in the palm. I'm really happy about this. Problem solved!

Great for Washing hair/scalp
The product seems very sturdy and should last a long time. It’s sealed very well so using in the shower is no hassle. I love the bristles on the end. They are soft, flexible and not harsh on the scalp. If you have natural 4b/4c hair, then you’d need to part your hair in sections to allow you to use it efficiently. Also great as a manual scalp massager if need be. I saw a YouTube review it and decided to get it. I wasn’t disappointed.

Go Go Gadget... Shampoo Brush
If you are interested in making the whole Washing Your Hair Experience more interesting... try this Hair Scalp Massager/ Shampoo Brush. My son and I have 4C curl patterns and use this brush to help incorporate shampoo in our hair. Previously, we used a different type of scalp brush that was made of hard plastic. The spikes of the brush essentially scratched the scalp and although it felt toe-tingling awesome, I began to worry that "roughing up" my scalp was not the best way to handle itchy, flaky scalp. So, I thought I'd try out this brush. Here is what I think: 1. Large and easy to hold. It has a slightly curved back which allows for it to fit comfortably in the palm of my hand (like a computer mouse). 2. The spikes are long enough to get through the thickest hair. (I recommend sectioning hair and working the brush separately on each section, to avoid tangling.) 3. The brush helps shampoo form a rich lather. 4. The spikes are soft and flexible and "bend" as you rub the brush across the scalp, creating a non-abrasive sensation. 5. Can be used to simply massage the scalp between washes. 6. Gentle on hair and, over time, helps to alleviate itchy, scratchy scalp. Give it a try!

Great hair product!
I actually was impressed by this little product. I have a lot of thick wavy hair, so I thought I would have to part my hair for it to actually reach my scalp. I didn't have to. I also didn't expect it to leave my scalp and hair feeling so much cleaner, but it did! It also feels SO good on your head. My husband got curious after I raved to him about it. He used it too and he feels the same way about it! Definitely great even for such a low price!

Those with psoriasis beware
After reading several reviews of these scalp massagers I decided to try one as a way to help with my scalp psoriasis. Reviews I read from others with psoriasis stated how it was a good way to help with getting medicated shampoo onto their scalp and break up the plaque. Once it arrived I noticed how the bristles were fairly soft. Still I tried to be gentle as I used the massager. It was easy to hold and helped create a lather well. I have fairly thick long hair yet the massager didn't cause tangles. However after the first use my scalp suffered a terrible flare up over almost the entirety of my scalp. I also noticed the next day that I had lost quite a bit of hair on one side of my head. I haven't tried it since as I don't wish to cause any more irritation. To others who also have scalp psoriasis I say use with caution.
