I am lazy; I only review Amazon items that are remarkable, be it good or bad, and this chair is remarkable in a very good way. It is very comfortable, I am 6ft 4in, and about 200 pounds, so not a small bloke, and it is really lovely for me to sit in and relax. I did spend a long Sunday afternoon trying chairs out in the usual sofa and furniture shops, took some pictures and came home. Thought I might order online from one of the shops, and this range from Morris Living came up on an Internet search. It looked like the same sort of thing I'd sat in, so I took a chance and ordered this model. It was packed exceptionally well, the big heavy duty cardboard box it came in (which did fit easily through regular doors) would be a joy to any inventive youngster. Each upholstered bit was wrapped individually and the hardware is robust and sturdy. Once I'd unpacked all the bits and made sure there were no missing parts, it took me about an hour and a half to assemble it, I wasn't in a hurry and I didn't use the supplied Allen key but rather a ratchet socket screw driver and right angled ratchet which I would recommend if you could beg, borrow or steal one. I assembled it easily on my own. Some reviews here mention that the instruction booklet is small, well yes it is - A6 sized, but it is clear and you could take a picture of any page and enlarge on your phone. I didn't have problem following the instructions. It is very comfortable - tall enough to rest my head with great lumber support and nicely fitting all round. It is more comfortable than chairs I'd tried in shops and is great value for money, possibly £200, maybe £300, cheaper than the ones I tried, and with free delivery. I highly recommend it.

Delivered well packed and very prompt. Didn't really know what this chair would be like. Must say we was very pleased with the chair the colour is like a light silver grey which matched in our room very well. This chair is very well made and extremely comfy. The base is very detailed which to honest makes the chair stand out and to which makes it look more expensive than it was. All in all a great buy!

We assembled the chair as per the instructions which were quite difficult to read. After a couple of weeks the bolts came out of the back. We contacted Morris and they tried to resolve it asking about the bolts and the thread. I requested a new chair and they said I had to return the chair in the original packaging. I did not have this so they told me I would need to pay £45. I got onto Amazon customer services and they spoke to Morris Leisure who agreed to come out and fix the chair.

Fantastic value for money !! Easy to put together !! Just tighten up the base again after a few weeks !!

Great chair very comfortable good quality my only criticism is assembly instructions diagrams very very small with no written words at all difficult to follow but managed in the end very time consuming.
