We bought this for our grandchildren, aged 4,3 and 2. They all play with it in their own way and all of them really enjoy it. It's good that you can add to it with vehicles and various other buildings. We bought some extra cars and added a police station set that attaches at the base. As they get older we can keep freshening it up with additions. It took a bit of time to assemble and attach all the stickers but it's a good size, not too big but big enough and it's good value.

Great toy

My son loves it still plays with it almost a year later but I wouldn’t say it’s the best quality. Can’t complain too much for the price though! Good cheaper alternative for a toy garage. Does tend to come apart if you move it about!

The design ideas around this garage are good. It has a car lift that raises the toys cars onto the top of the ramp and they immediately spiral down, stopping at a halfway barrier that you release by pressing the helicopter pad. It also has parking spaces on the bottom and a marina area with a small boat. Plenty for kids to play with and you do get a small plastic ( poor quality) helicopter too. However it’s very difficult to put together because the build quality is really awful. In our case the top section of the grey ramp was an inch out of position ( bent upwards) …assumably because the section was incorrectly moulded in the first place. This meant that the cars had nowhere to go when you took them up the lift. There was literally just a drop because the top grey track didn’t lie flat into the lift exit. When you pushed it down it popped out of the helicopter pad section. It was totally the wrong shape. My grandson was absolutely devastated on Xmas morning. It should have been sent back but what do you do when a young child is disappointed…so luckily my hubby is extremely handy and he fitted two small screws to hold the top sections in place. This means that the garage cannot be easily dismantled but we had a happy grandson who played with his garage all day. This is not acceptable and they really need to address the poor build quality. The screws were difficult to do ( fiddly to drill tiny holes and fit tiny screws) and we shouldn’t have had to do this. I was very aware that if my hubby had failed we could not return it. The garage is not worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are happy to risk a disappointed child. Having said that if you happen to get one that does fit together properly I’m sure your child would be happy but even then set aside at least 30 minutes to put it together and don’t expect it to last as it’s not overly strong. Shame really as they should have put the same care into the build quality as they obviously did in the design features.

My 2 year old loves this, only issue would be its quite fiddley to put all the stickers on and the ramp can quite easily come away from the main structure. Wouldn't put me off recommending it though.

Part missing when opened as this was a gift I cannot return it now

My grandson loves this toy. He plays with it for hours. It does take some time to put it together.

This was a hit right out of the box for my grandkids. It is sturdy and of the quality you'd expect from Matchbox. The best part about it is that it has longevity in the play value. The kids start playing with it and want to see more and more and more cars go down. We leave it out on the play table because they love it that much. Easy to use and you can attach other Matchbox play sets to the base. We're working on making an entire city around this playset. Holds a lot of vehicles, connects easily, doesn't take up a huge amount of space.
