Love this. My skin feels nicer, plus looks less red.. Only used for a few day. I can't wait to see the difference in a month. Will buy again.

Excellent SPF for sensitive skin

Very disappointing product. My wife bought it to help conceal rosacea, as she'd seen reviews about it. However, the packaging talks about it really being a sunblock product, which she didn't want. On that basis, I tried to return it, but it is not a returnable item - why, I couldn't find out. My wife then tried it, but it's quite thick and takes quite a bit of effort to get it out of the tube. It doesn't really get absorbed into the skin very easily. It did nothing to conceal the rosacea. All in all, a total waste of money, especially when the instructions say apply it liberally. It's gone in the waste bin.

Colour match is good. I have fair skin with red undertones. I have very sensitive skin especially around the eyes. This product does not affect them. In the hottest weather I do need to apply a higher factor on my forehead. But I have grown out a fringe so it is not used to full sun

During the lockdown I'm not into using a lot of make-up but I still wanted to use something to cover my redness. I have been using the product for a month now (just time to time) and my skin looks much better. No need to use a lot of it to cover full face and feels light on the face.

It’s a nice cream that lasts the day, BUT this is the 2nd tube that I’ve purchased that after a few pumps, now no longer pumps Very frustrating! I returned the 1st tube ordered coz I had the box Shame it’s faulty packaging pump again

This is the only sunscreen gentle enough and not super oily so as to not clog my pores, while still giving a decent tint to minimise (of course, not completely cover) some of the redness from acne spots and scars. The best part is that the ingredient list is minimal and effective. No unnecessary essential oils, extracts, fragrance, niacinamide (yes, people with sensitive and sensitized skin can react badly to niacinamide and even HA, and unfortunately they are being squeezed into every product out there now) which helps ensure that chances of irritation are reduced as well. I tried the spf20 version and loved it, and then struggled for quite a while to find a decent replacement when that became unavailable on amazon. This spf40 version is just as great, with the added benefit of a higher spf. It also contains caffeine, which reduces inflammation and serves as an antioxidant as well. The price was in an acceptable range at the time of my purchase as I forego products with unnecessary price hikes. I wish this were also available in pharmacies across the UAE too, to avoid potential dupes being sold. The tint works well on me (I have fair-medium, olive-toned skin). If your skin is very fair, dusky, or on the darker side, then do a patch test to see if you are able to blend it in or you might have to use your foundation to correct/cover over it. I have combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and this product works amazingly well for me. If your skin is on the drier side, then definitely use a moisturizer before going in with this. Again, patch test to see what works for you, but this is a very good product to try out!

I realised this was tinted but assumed it would still be a light cream given Cetaphil is well known for skin products for sensitive skins. The cream is noticeably thicker than normal face moisturisers and feels a little sticky on my skin. This is made worse by the fact I live in the tropics (~30C and high humidity) and for me a heavy cream is out of the question in my hot climate in which I inevitably sweat a little. Perhaps because of sweat mixing with the cream, my skin started to itch (albeit no redness or anything like that). On day two I bought the normal Cetaphil SPG15 day moisturiser (non redness preventing) and instantly my skin is relieved and doesn't feel sticky. I understand some people may prefer to have a cream that doubles as a concealer (that's what this is) but I reckon there's a good chance the tint isn't quite right for your skin and ends up looking a little unnatural anyway. Surely you are better off using a normal moisturiser and a little foundation (the right tint for your skin) on top, if that's what you want. Overall, I don't recommend this for anyone. Yes Cetaphil makes great products, but I think best avoid this one.
