You know what I mean… Thankfully 1 tablespoon of marinated heavenly varksquark from the planet Rinron on a Tuesday with a waning moon, is not an ingredient request. If you are serious about tackling your health niggles and your body jiggles and you don’t want to be a western statistic, then this book is for you. Peer reviewed and well written.

Get serious about your health..

So thankful for this book
Absolutely love this book. So informative and I feel like I understand my hormones more now than I ever got taught in school. Mindy has really gone to the effort to do her research and provide some lovely recipes too!

Great book, very informative and lovely recipes.
I love this book and have tried a few of the recipes straight away and they're delicious. I first came across Dr Mindy Pelz on the Feel Better Live More podcast where she was talking about her book Fast Like a Girl. I followed the advice in that book on intermittent fasting and eating for your hormones which has helped me stabilise my menopausal hormones and brought me well out of pre-diabetes. This book is a great addition going more into the food side of things so you know how to eat to support your hormones and blood sugar levels. It has recipes for plant based and meat so suits both diets. I'm plant based and love the recipes I've had so far.

So true!
Really excited that my book arrived today! This book should be called "At last, an answer to my prayers" Page 'xiv' in the Introduction, it says that "too many of us accept the "there's nothing you can do" . I was literally told this by my GP during a visit when I was feeling very low, my GP said " look, there's nothing we can do about your age, there's nothing we can do to change the fact that your a 57 year old woman, but we can do something to boost your mood with antidepressants". I was lost for words & walked out ( without taking the prescription). I've been fasting for 4 months after reading Fast like a Girl, ive lost 13lb & I feel great! This is exactly what us woman need! Professional guidance to help us take control of our own health & destiny.

Fantastic book! This is not just a cookbook, it is full of information, including the 30 day reset and what to eat coming off your fast. There are your staples in the recipes; broth, sauces and lots of delicious meals including some fantastic snacks and desserts. Meals to balance your hormones, stabilize your blood sugars and these recipes support a healthy gut. It's a beautiful, colorful book. I love it! This will be one of my regular go to books.

Great! In one place all you need to know and how to cook like a girl 😀! Already tried some of the recipes. The fasting flax crackers replace the bread for me, as you can eat them as amuse bouche with different types of French and Belgian cheese, hams, prosciutto, micro greens, avocado. Thank you, Dr. Mindy!

I embarked on the journey about a year and a half ago, when I stumbled upon Dr. Mindy Pelz on YouTube and soon after bought the book Fast Like A Girl. I had been struggling with my body due to an injury and wanted to be in good shape and healthy after I passed the age of 40. I was super excited when I was able to preorder Eat Like A Girl and the book does not disappoint! Great explanation, even if you didn't read the first book and amazing recipes! Defo a must-buy if you want your hormones to be back in balance and feel healthy once again.
